New favorite toy- 2 year old birthday gift
Purchased this as a birthday gift for a 2 year old birthday gift and it is now his favorite toy. Perfect for kids who love to tinker with tools and like to take things apart. There are cheaper options on the market, but this one had more operations that could be done and looked more durable. For how much he loves it and will continue to play with it, it is a great value. Since assembly is suppose to be done by kids, it is very easy to put together and take apart. It is also a good size, not too big that it can’t be stored easily but big enough for toddlers to push it around.

Great learning toy for future gearheads!
My grandson loves hanging out in the auto shop with his Dad and Grandpa..... now he has his own motor to "tinker" with. This toy is exceptionally made, large enough to actually be a learning tool for kids, and easy to assemble. Our grandson loves this.

Fun fun fun
What a great toy. Interactive, educational, well made. Yeah, it’s a bit expensive, but the quality is there.

Should have a few extra bolts
My son loves this thing! But after a few of the female fittings pulled out I had to glue them back in. Of course he is a little young but we are currently missing a few bolts. I wish it would have came with maybe an extra couple. The price for what you get is also more than I would have paid if I saw this in person first. Some parts are flimsy, some are sturdy. Overall ok product.

So CUTE!!!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect given reviews and the price point but we are soooo pleased!! My son was 5.5 at the time he received this for Christmas and he’s been obsessed since! He loves big trucks and everything construction, and the parts actually look like the real deal so him and his dad had a great time looking and talking about all the parts.I honestly feel the reviews are pretty harsh on the break/fix function and features. Yes it’s basic but the whole process of them “breaking”, then having to take each piece off, the motor skills and thought process that brings is really wonderful! And no you don’t really “fix” anything, but once you get to the part that “broke” you push a switch and it goes back to working. Again, it’s not so much the act of fixing, but the skills gained in the process. My son even “drives” this thing around our house. He absolutely loves it!

even better with a toy power drill
We got this for my son, who was almost 3 at the time because he had an interest in mechanics and taking things apart. He was mildly interested in the truck and putting it together but not enough to keep it out and it ended up getting stored in the basement for a few months. He just got a battat airplane that came with a toy power drill to take the airplane apart and put back together and the power drill works perfectly with the truck. Now we are constantly playing mechanic shop and hes already able to name all the parts he is fixing. It was definitely a good buy once we got a toy power drill to go with it. He was capable of using the tools that came with the truck but he didnt have the patience to unscrew all those screws. Even I think the truck is more fun with a power drill. If you get this, I highly recommend getting a toy with a toy power drill like the battat airplane to go with it.

What a great gift!
Wyatt is 4 and like his daddy who has a fleet of trucks knows the name of trucks and what they do. I purchased the “CAT” truck for him. He and dad put it together and he played all day with it. I watched as he took it all apart and remembered how to reassemble it with no help. A great gift!

Great product! "Faulty" headlights may be intentional!
Just put this together in preparation of my sons 3rd birthday next week. Just wanted to leave a review to address the faulty headlight review I read. We thought ours were faulty at first too, but it is actually part of the design of the toy. One of the parts you "fix" is the headlights. So if the red button is triggered, you cant turn the light on by pressing the lightbulb part until you pull the light out and flip the switch on the back to "repair" it. So it probably wasnt faulty, the reviewer probably just did not realize that was part of the toys design.I am so excited for my son to open this though. He is very into "fixing" things with his dad and this is going to be perfect for him.
