Ice Ball Maker Mold, GVDV Easy Release Flexible Silicone Round Spheres Ice Tray - Molds 6 X 4.5cm Round Whiskey Ice Balls (Black)

I'm not sure why so many people have problems with this product. I got 6 perfect ice balls my first time using it and I've never had a problem. I fill it 3/4 of the way full with water from my Brita pitcher, firmly press the top on then put it in my freezer and that's it. It does slosh a little water during the transfer but it's not a huge problem. Just fill it near the fridge so you don't have to move it far. I'm really glad I bought this product. I love bourbon but it has to be cold and these ice balls melt very slowly.

It is fun and works well enough. If you are looking for perfectly round ice balls with no seams well then you have too much time on your hands! They are nice for drinks and melt slower than regular cubes. It is a little tricky to keep the two pieces together while filling with water but once you get the hang of it it gets easier.

Update: I got an email immediately after I posted the review and I was refunded the whole amount of purchase. FANTASTIC customer support!Original review: The water does not sit nicely in its mold. The molds do not fill up more than half full and the water spills out the sides and the rubber does not hold its shape. Spend more and get the nicer individual globe molds. Trust me!

The product is very nice and easy to use, makes very good ICE BALLS that are very easy to take out of the mold, to keep in the freezer and make new ones.The only down side I see, is that they come out of the mold with an "edge" in the center of the balls where the two halves of the mold come together, but this edge, is the firts thing that melts of, so you are left with perfect round balls in about 30 seconds.

Some bad taste transferred to ice but not as bad or as strong as many other molds that I have tried.Main problem is that the molds don't work as well after first use. They don't fit together snuggly/tightly anymore and water leaks out easily and you don't get nice spherical ice.

This really is not a good product. None of the spheres come out as spheres - they all are cracked in half or broken.Hard to remove after the ice is frozen.Even using purified water, they don't look at all like the photos in the marketing.

this a very nice item to have. fits a scotch glass nicely. because of the thickness, it doesnt melt very fast so it keeps your drink cold longer. you have to set it in the freezer and fill it with a jug.anything else will cause the water to spill.durable and easy to usedefinitely recommend and worth the price.

Really easy to use. Just fill the bottom with water and push the top in to disperse the water in the spheres. The silicone mold makes it really easy to pop them out. I made spheres of orange juice for mimosas so it wouldn't water down the drink.
