Great price!!
Better than expected quality. For such a low price, figured it was worth a shot to try them out. Turns out that shot was a bullseye! Will definitely buy these again when I need more.

Works and they are inexpensive
I bought two sets of these for 6 total guitar hangers. They are not as awesome as string slings but they are a third the cost. They mount to the wall perfectly and hold the guitars as expected. There are other reviews that I have read that the issues are clearly users related."I twisted it to tighten it all the way and it broke..." They are not meant to be tightened all the way, they are meant to move to hold guitars with non symmetrical headstocks."They came of the wall after I used the drywall screws..." Seriously? You put your heavy guitar on something and thought "drywall screws, that seems secure!" - drill into a stud or put up a board that goes stud to stud. Dry wall screws would work for ukes and maybe acoustics. I have Les Pauls and teles..."I didn't like the finish..." ... really? one star because of the finish? Stop it.These work. If I happened to get six awesome ones and other people have gotten bad ones, I would love to see who and how they were put up. The people with pictures mostly gave good reviews. The poor review pictures that I saw were not from normal, reasonable use. Like trying to use a hammer as a screwdriver and complaining about it...

Good enough.
First, if you love your instruments, don't even think about hanging them on dry wall surfaces without some wood backing behind them. I would have given 5 stars but I think the seller should give fair warning on the hazards of installing their hangers into dry wall alone. In my opinion they shouldn't even send hardware, it miss leads buyers that the hardware they include will be adequate to bear the weight of most instruments. Most houses have studs behind drywall every 16 inches, use them instead of any-type of drywall anchors. If you want closer spacing between your instruments, install wood chair-rail moulding horizontally across the wall screwing it into the vertical studs mentioned above. Second, the hangers are not as nice looking as the String Swings but are nice enough and less expensive. If your obsessed like I am, I like hardware to all look the same, if you are hanging a lot of instruments, it's a lot cheaper to buy a gob of Stage Acoustics then String Swings. Some left questions on whether if they holders swing or move back and forth I guess thats what they meant. Simple answer is it all depends how tight you screw them into the backing plate. Want swing, screw them in tight and back out 1 revolution. Walla! I just ordered two more to finish my wall.

Well built guitar hangers
When you're hanging your expensive guitars from the wall, the last thing you want is the hanger falling off and your guitar crashing down to the floor. I've seen less expensive replica's of these hangers on ebay, but they are complete crap. These hangers, however, ARE SOLID.Supplied are robust hard wood wall blocks and steel hangers (anodized black) and rust proof screws of proper size, thick enough to support the guitar weight. The steel hanger is wrapped with a high quality rubber that ensure's long use and no wear on the guitar neck. The wood blocks also contain a steel bolt-anchor inside the hanger hole to ensure a great fit with the mounting thread. In my opinion, it was worth spending a few extra bucks on these hangers. I will be using the three hangers for my gibson acoustic and two electrics, one being a js1000 joe satriani signed, special edition and the other being a genuine 1958 gibson explorer. I trust these hangers.

Decent product & price, cheap mounting hardware.
This is a good deal for some pretty nice wall mounts, but you will likely have to buy some decent quality wall anchors separately. The plastic ones that come with the kit are cheap and flimsy. When I used them I could feel/see that there was quite a bit of give and I didn't feel confident hanging a guitar on them. With that said, I purchased some toggle bolt anchors (diameter of 1/8" fits perfectly) for a few dollars and things seem to be holding up without issue.

Wonderful display idea
We were re-decorating our games room and my wife suggested that I hang my guitars on the wall in a display. I bought a dozen of these and put 10 of my guitars on the wall. I lagged a 1x6 on to the wall directly into the studs. I then mounted these hangers directly into that 1x6. Everything seems to be hanging nicely and I do not have to worry about the drywall letting go. It makes for a wonderful display for my guitars and it also makes me more apt to pull one off the wall and play/practice a bit more.

Sturdy Hangers
I attached 1"x6" pine wood to the wall using #12 2.5" wood screws into the studs, then attached these to the pine rather than use the drywall anchors. The wood is a nice solid, I'm guessing maple, heavy bolt, and the plastic collar is solid not hollow. The screws seem ok, they stick out an inch from the back. I had purchased some heavier 2" #10 screws for it, but, the head was too large for the hole. Seems to be really sturdy. Hope so, bought 7.

Yup, pretty nice.
They look pretty nice, real wood with a slightly glossy finish. Although I was nervous, it turns out that drywall screws are indeed solid enough to hold up a heavy guitar. The prongs can swivel a bit, so if your axe has an odd-shaped head, things will work out for you. Probably any electric or western acoustic will fit, and electric basses. Although I don't intend to hang it up, I did try my classical guitar up there, and if I kind of twist it in, the prongs are just barely wide enough to hold it (though this may vary depending on the construction of your instrument).I like them enough to have written this blurb for you.
