** Update **Received a second handle which was ordered separately to replace this one, its been installed for a month and has not broken which is good news. I can only assume the first one was a faulty unit. Replacement exactly the same, there is a small plastic bit behind the handle itself, time will tell how this holds up but for now seems ok. I have rated this as 3 star because for the price paid £25.99 I think it is no better that the much cheaper handles at around £10.00. No response from the company to my original issue below which although was not expected would have been helpful. There is no way of discussing this with the seller as it was fulfilled by Amazon and you can only advise them it was a faulty item and return.....Received the product quickly, no issue there. Required some work to drill through a 56mm hole in the door which I did not expect because it looked like a flush mounted deign, however no problem because fortunately I had the drill bit and am pretty handy when it comes to woodwork. Fitting was pretty straightforward although after the first fit the bolt/latch was sticking in the open position. After loosening the screws and re-tightening it all worked and seemed fine. However after only a couple of days the handle on the locking side completely detached from the rose. Upon close inspection it looks like there is a piece of plastic to retain it that was either broken or defective. The handle had not been subject to heavy or misuse, just normal operation. This is pretty poor and is either a design fault or a faulty unit that was supplied. Here lies the problem; because I have drilled the door to suit this handle I have had to order another one as a replacement and return the faulty handle for a refund. Here is hoping that the replacement is better, in my opinion the overall handle quality looks good but the method of retaining the handle looks like a weak point. It was expensive compared to other cheaper versions and I thought that Drenky was a better choice and worth paying more than double for a known brand. Lets see how the replacement stands up, hopefully a better quality.

PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AS ALL CORESPONDENT EMAIL IS SOME GENERIC SAVED RESPONSE.AND THE HANDLES ARE MISSING THE KEY COMPONENT TO LOCK THE HANDLE INTO PLACE SO IT DOESN'T JUST FALL OFF EVERY TIME YOU TRY AND OPEN A DOOR...............

Its absolutely rubbish. For the price I expected something a little better!!! The handle came off within a few days of use. DON'T BUY.
