Very good book

Avoid this book entirely! No pictures to show examples. It is just plain text that anyone can easily find in the internet. It reads like a student presentation for a school project. No good examples or even insight into glazing! No wonder the kindle version was a couple of dollars! Cheap. Not worth the read no real information here.Generalized tips with no real content.I would have given it zero stars.

Great table of contents with too little content. Needed to address more information. Too condescending. The information needs better documentation and could be misleading. The Crystalline pottery section was a great example. The shape of the crystals at various temperature was interesting, but the explanation of why and how crystals grow and what makes it different could have been much better. Left out a lot of basic information.

Very dissatisfied

Great book if you dont know a lot about glazing/pottery in general and need an overview. It doesnt help you learn any skills in detail and wont help if you are an intermediate or advanced potter. Also, it's a super short read.

A completely useless book with no pictures for demonstration. What was the author thinking? absolute Waste of money to imagine things on ur own.

This is the most disappointing purchase I have ever made from Amazon. It is supposed to be two books but it is only a small format book of some 150 pages. The price is ridiculously high for what you get. And it has zero photos. How can you write a book about glazes and not even have a few photos to show the result? This is a self-published "book" that is basically a set of photocopies bound together. More than just a total disappointment, the high price of this item and the add claiming that you get two books makes it a bordeline scam.

The was nothing to dislike. I used the book to help me learn about glazing pottery.
