it is pretty robust in quality.The bars are too thick, you have to literally push the bars into position to gain a close to accurate shape against curved doors frames, for instance.the locking mechanism is not so secure as to hold the bars in place, to allow easy "trace and cut" when placed on tiles.

Used it to cut sections out of laminate around doorways, for which it was wide enough, but a couple more cms of depth would have been useful. You need to help it find the exact profile, by tapping or pushing on individual slats, but it works very well.

The media could not be loaded.  What a great tool this is.The amount of times I've spent ages trying to measure fiddly sections of wood or tiles using scraps of paper.With this profiler you simply push all the blades to the top pushing the bottom on the floor.You then push the blades against the object you are measuring. You have to give it a bit of pressure. You can then take it away and the profile is preserv d for you to take for your cut. You don't have to worry about the blades moving as they secured tightly so only move when you want them to.A great time saving tool everyone should have. I think I need to buy the 10" now.

Bought this to get a nice fit round my door frames when I lay my laminate floor, was a little skeptical when I ordered it but I was amazingly suprised.So easy to use, push into the groves and draw pattern on the flooring job done.Highly recommend for anyone that has some tricky cornering to cut round.

This is a very handy and ingenious product to make DIY easier. Made out of plastic, it is light and easy to handle. At approximately 12.5 cm wide, it will do most jobs.However, it’s not quite built robust enough and after getting the shape of the desired edge made, there isn’t a mechanism to lock it in place - a screw on one side suggests a locking feature, but it didn't turn out to be.

If using on a large curve the last teeth tend to bend out the end comb teeth may be better s/s steel

Useful for carpentry work but not a substitute for careful measuring
