Ryobi RCS2340B 2300W 40cm Chainsaw, Hyper Green

Used this to take down a beech tree in the back garden that we wanted removed. The RCS2340B was easy to set up, fill it with oil and away you go! I had no issues with it at all and it cut so easy. I opted for an electric saw instead of petrol as I don’t normally use them so thought the electric would keep and start first time if I left it for long periods. I have Ryobi one plus tools, but wanted a saw that would last longer than 20 mins on a single battery so had to be the mains. Good saw and also a great addition to all the other Ryobi tools I have.

Nice bit of kit for the money. Only problem is it doesnt come with any chain oil so you can use it right away. Other wise no problem

I ordered this and it was delivered in a couple of days which was great. Unfortunately it didn't work. I think the guard is supposed to act as a safety switch. It was rock solid. So the machine would not run.On arrival the box had clearly been opened before and part of the box was repaired with white tape. This had obviously been a previously returned machine, for likely the same reason.The returning process is a faff and a huff inconvenience. Totally rubbish experience from Amazon this time. Gonna have to be a trip to B&Q now to get the job in hand done, plus a dear knows how long wait for a refund.

Brilliant lightweight chainsaw battery life was just over the higher end of the estimate of 20-40 mins went through some pretty big branches (much bigger than the birch pictured) very easy to assemble and adjust the chain. Perfect if you don't have electric on site and don't want to kill your arms with a heavy petrol one.

What can I say this electric chainsaw has amazed me by how well it did the job for the price I paid simple to use lightweight easy to assemble too Happy days
