Great buy. Seems like new.
Good new phone. It is "refurbished", but you would 't know it. Works well. very easy to synch with our already present system.

Does not work.
This is an add on to our phone. Base will not register. "" Base no power. Go thru written steps. Phones ring lights flash, still does not register. Tried hand set in differe ent basr, changed batteries still no luck! Will try to return.

It would have been nice if Panasonic had made the handset charging/connecting bases interchangeable
This model phone is hard to find, but works well as a cordless handset, with my Ooma phone system. I needed another extension. As it is, I had to use an RJ11 splitter on my Ooma Telo in order to utilize handsets in several convenient locations. It would have been nice if Panasonic had made the handset charging/connecting bases interchangeable, so that any of several KXT*** handsets could fit into any of several charging bases.

Refurbished like New
We needed a third unit and ordered a refurbished one without realizing it was refurbished. (The price was excellent!) It looked new and worked like new. I've ordered other refurbished items over the years and never been disappointed. This was a great buy.

Like the talking caller ID
This is a add-on to a phone set that I have had for a few years. Works great. My favorite feature is the talking caller ID. I know who is calling without looking at the display. I can enter a new number into the contact list and through any handset and it is accessible on all handsets.

Can make outgoing calls but incoming calls disconnect
Calls hang up when I answer. I have to run to an older model of Panasonic phone to answer. This one did not have a blinking light on the top to let me know I have AT&T voicemail waiting, like similar replacement handsets I have ordered from Amazon in the past.

Quickly turned to junk.
We're in the process of replacing these phones. They worked great for a year. Now they won't answer. Either the person on the other line can't hear me, I get the word "busy" on the screen when I try to answer, or the line is broken up. Doesn't matter who is calling. Out going calls are slightly better than incoming.
