Solid Reliable Consistent Affordable
I’ve been using this SUNLU PLA for a while now and it’s been very dependable. The 1.75 mm filament feeds smoothly and I haven’t run into tangles or jams. Print quality is consistent, with good layer adhesion and a clean surface finish. I usually print around 200–210 °C and it works well with standard PLA settings. Bed adhesion has been good on both glass and textured plates, with minimal warping. The spool arrived vacuum-sealed and neatly wound, which I appreciate. For the price, this is a good quality PLA that’s easy to use and suitable for everyday prints, prototypes, and functional parts. I’d buy it again without hesitation

Awesome filament and great price!
I recently purchased a Bambu lab printer and was a bit hesitant to use anything other than the Bambu brand. This was the very first Sunlu brand filament I had used and it worked really well. Great quality product, low moisture content and the exact color of orange I was looking for in filament. The texture, size and thickness was perfect for my mini printer. Would definitely recommend Sunlu products for your printing needs.

Excellent filament with no issues
Prints beautifully on the Bambu P2S. I have had no print quality issues with it. It was well-packaged and there were no issues with delivery damage. Filament flows as expected and there were no special adjustments needed in my slicer. No spaghetti/tangling with this filament (yet) and I have run several jobs through. I run my printer 24/7 and need reliable filaments that are easy to use and store. I will definitely purchase this again.

Great Filament for Lighted 3D Signs!
This filament doesn’t glow, but it lets light pass through really well, making it perfect for 3D-printed signs or backlit prints. It’s easy to use, prints smoothly, and offers great value for the money. Clean finish and consistent quality throughout the spool. It doesn't have a bad smell and its typical PLA temperature printing range.

Spool too tight
Quality and color is pretty good considering the price , one issue though; when it’s being fed give that the spool is soo wound up , the printer will kinda creek and jerk a tad from the resistance of the spool . So when you load it up make sure you kinda loosen it up a bit or else you might end up burning your motor or having your print mess up

Great filament at a great price
I recently purchased a Bambu lab printer and I was a bit hesitant to use anything but the Bambu brand. This was the first Sunlu brand filament I had used and it worked great. Great quality, low moisture content and the exact color I was looking for. No strange odors while printing. Will purchase again.

Prints great, but it's a full, tight reel
This prints beautifully, but it's got a lot of texture to it as it goes into the (Bambu) AMS. On initial loads, it can stick to itself and struggle to rewind. It feels a lot like like a Carbon Fiber filled filament even though it isn't -a curious pre-print texture. But it prints fine and looks great. No printing flaws. The color is rich and doesn't look washed out at all. No stringing or blobbing, so it's obviously clear of moisture on shipping.

Capable Filament...limited functionality...
Expectations I have never used Sunlu PLA, and, honestly, I wasn’t super impressed with this particular PLA. It is a capable PLA, but my expectations left me disappointed none the less. I was super excited at the prospect of a PLA that might look a little crystallin or glass like. The term “Clear” in this product description is not accurate, and this may be due to some misunderstandings of what the word means during translation from Chinese to English. What the company seems to actually mean by clear is…”without pigment”. So, what I expected was a material that was similar to glass, with clear (like fiber optics) filament. What I got was a cloudy material mostly opaque, more similar to a glue stick or an Ice cube. It also has a slightly yellow hue to it. The Reality This PLA didn’t look like it was going to look good when laid down on the print, but I was willing to give it a shot. I was surprised to find that the bottom temp printed on the PLA was 200 degrees C. This is usually the middle or near the top of the temp range for a PLA. I decided to do a temp tower to see where its “best temp” was, but, in spite of my best efforts, I was unable to find a tower with temps from 200 to 240 (which is the listed temp range). So, I had to make a new gcode file to print a tower with those temps. The numbers on the one pictured are from 245 (at the bottom) to 200 (at the top) and each level is -5 degrees. My test showed that all levels were stringy except at the bottom of the range at 200. I suspect you could run this filament at 190 or 195 and get even better results, but I didn’t have time to test that theory. The Results This actually was a reliable, nice looking filament. It wasn’t clear, mind you, but it did have a small amount of transparency, and it created a nice, silky sheen on the surface. It lost its yellow hue during the print and had an icy cold look to the color afterwards. I think, even if I hadn’t had that expectation of clear filament, I would have liked a little more transparency to justify calling it a transparent filament. Conclusion Even at 200 degrees, I still got some stringing. It printed fine details well, but did leave some stringing even at low temps. I had no issues with clogging or flow inconsistency. The color was consistent and pleasant, though a bit featureless shade of white. The prints react beautifully to having LED light put through them. I used a display for one print and it lit up like a Christmas tree. But, in regular lighting, I found it difficult to see curves and features of the models. I don’t know if I would recommend this particular filament to someone, but I think the company is taking a lot of pride in their product. The box has a very nice temperature guide printed on it (see pictures). The roll was a good quality spun roll, free of knots. And the filament did print consistently well. I just don’t personally see the color or transparency of the resulting prints as very useful. You can see that the vase turned out very nice, and it has a nice almost transparent look, but there are very few occasions when I will need a pale white, barely transparent filament. Still, this PLA was worth the purchase for vases and some sculptures, and I look forward to trying more PLA from this company. Happy Printing.
