Samsung ME19R7041FS 1.9 Cu.Ft. Stainless Steel Over-The-Range Microwave

This was not extremely difficult to install. You have to read the instructions carefully and take your time. You will probably need at least two people for installation. Once we lifted it, it easily mounted to the bracket on the wall. It looks great and works perfectly so far.

The back plate on this thing is simply a bar for mounting, which was much easier than other units I've installed. Ducting was as expected, this is supposed to be one of the higher rated CFM units available, but you only get so much from these over the stove style units. I don't really notice much difference between this unit and my old microwave which was rated at only 290 CFM. One annoying issue is, when using the microwave, it cuts the fan down to half speed and you have to turn it back up. We fairly frequently use the stove top and microwave simultaneously, so this is a nuisance. The manual that came with it is useless as well. It's not that it's hard to read, the directions literally don't work. I had to find the proper YouTube video just to program the clock. Clicking the buttons as the manual instructed led to different functions. Aside from those gripes this is a very attractive and well built appliance. It defrosts very well on the automatic settings and heats food properly.

Installing was easier with template. I like the value for the money. You don't have to push extra buttons to start, just put in your time and hit start. No incessant beeping like my last one. It matches our stove and dishwasher. We love it!

Buyers Beware!!!!! Cheaply made, I should have know better than buying a Samsung but this is what I got. I mean if you cant even get the handle right? What else will go wrong with it?!?

I am very happy with it. I did have a handyman install it for me. He had no problem with the installation. I would not have been able to do it myself. It was too heavy, for me.

So, it is a very attractive microwave, runs great, has a lot of useful options. Problem is/was, no instructions, user manual or templet. We found user and instructions online. Spoke with Samsung, they have to snail mail you a templet so, it's roughly 20 ish days before it would arrive. Husband made a templet and then we download the other items. Microwave door has no release button so, early morning use is very loud in regards to opening and shutting the door.Seller did what they could to help and was very responsive. Samsung failed to place the needed, templet, and other manuals in the box.

Its an over the range microwave. It is what it is. I would have given it 5 stars, except for the difficulty setting the clock. The instructions provided were wrong. But Google to the rescue! We're happy with our purchase.
