The nice thing about a surveyor's vest is the pockets, and this has them! I use a tablet for a lot of my note-taking in the field, and I hate to climb ladders and such with my tablet in hand. The inside pockets on this vest are large enough to secure my tablet so I don't have to worry about dropping it while climbing a ladder. I also have plenty of pockets for extra PPE, binos, and various tools I keep on me in the field. It's pricey for a vest but well worth it to be able to do everything I need it to do.

I challenge anyone to find a better vest. If you do, I want to buy it. It’s durable, functional and comfortable. I haven’t experienced this yet, but I was told by a coworker with the same vest that when washed, the Velcro on the pockets curl up and become useless.
