I keep this on my purse day to day but I especially love it on my backpack when hiking! It has a high sound that makes me feel safer wither I am being attacked or if I were to ever get lost on a hike. I would recommend to anyone to get one of these alarms! It is very light but packs a loud alarm sound. It fits perfectly on my purse strap and my backpack. Highly recommend.

Purchased 2, alarm is loud enough to draw attention Pull apart to activate, slide cap back together to shut off.Fits easily on my key chain which is around my neck or in my hand when walking. Keep at bedside at night.

Does what it should, though I use mine only in dry, nondemanding conditions. I bought a couple to use as super cheap alarms for my work truck & trailer doors while at a motel on out of town jobs. Doubtful I'd hear it from my room overlooking the truck but between the farts of light and moderate high pitched trill, hopefully a thief would leave it be if he broke in and opened the door.I don't know what's patented since an 8th grader could build one but for the money I'm satisfied. I had a Screamin' Meanie trucker alarm once and it was truly headache loud. This is about what you'd expect from a watch battery but for the money can't complain. I'd feel ripped off if I'd bought the fancy brand name pink one.

Liked the black color & design. Very loud, which you want. Used carabiner to attach to purse.

I know my elderly mother will feel safer having this product, which puts me at ease.
