I ordered a blanket throw from Pure Country Weavers for the first time. The quality of the throw was outstanding. The blanket had vibrant colors and appeared just as the picture of "Frederick The Literate Cat" by Charles Wysocki appeared in the ad. The throw is thick, and will keep you warm on those chilly nights, as well as will provide a lovely display for where it is placed. I highly recommend this company for any blanket throws you may need. They will make lovely gifts, too. The delivery time was very prompt, also.

This is the second purchase from Country Weavers and they do not disappoint! This addition, “Frederick the Cat” means so much to me because I recently said farewell to my beautiful tabby cat and this will be a beautiful memory. These blankets are very well made and heavy enough to add warmth during those colder Winter months. The blankets wash well and also dry well (cold water wash and low heat to dry).

I Love it! Bought for myself, and now my husband wants it too. Just ordered another one, for him. First, I picked the theme: cats and books. Then I totally fell for the fact that it is made in USA, and it is hand-crafted. Great job, Pure Country Weavers!! Carry on.

My son has had a woven blanket of some sort all of his life. He just turned 33 today and at Christmas he showed me the one he’s had from high school that was almost in shreds…he takes it with him when he goes camping, when he travels…uses it as a pillow or as a cover. Anyway, my big manly son really wanted a new one. I researched to find a high-quality, adult size woven through (not stamped on one side!) and when I find y’all I knew I’d found the PERFECT company!! I got him two…the one shown and the one with the huge red dragon. SUCCESS! He loved them both and was very happy they are so big! Beautiful blankets that will be treasured. vivid colors, medium weight and really cute! I will wash it in colorfast detergent only. I use my tapestry as a tablecloth.

For fifty years I have been collecting tapestry throws from all over the country as souvenirs from places I have lived. Sadly, the great artisan weavers are gone. I am overjoyed to have found this website, which I spend too much time on. Next Christmas will be a cinch. For myself, Frederick the Literate Cat blanket is even more vibrant than pictured. Amazing detail and quality, and even a reasonable price. Tears in my eyes, because he evokes the spirit of my cat who loved to stretch out on piles of coffee table bird books. I was prepared to be sentimental about it, but was blown away when it arrived. It seems like the cat is there on the back of the sofa!
