NRS Standard Kayak Flotation

Perfect for my 12’ Kayak
There is no bulkhead in the bow of my Jackson Tupelo 12 ft Kayak so I installed this Medium sized NRS Standard Kayak Flotation bag to help keep my kayak’s nose up when swamped. As shown in the picture, I placed it forward of the foam support and tied it to the foot peg mount. I feel much safer now when I venture out on some local rivers.

Perfect.
Don't put off buying these like I did. They displace the water and help keep your kayak afloat if ever you tip, like my daughter did, lol. I carelessly punctured one, patched it, and it's still going strong 2 years later. Easy to install. I take mine out at seasons end so they'll last longer, as I have 5 Kayaks and they are rather pricey.

Nearly perfect fit in the bow of my Kayak.
I have a 12' Wilderness System's Shaman kayak from roughly 2002. It has a rear bulkhead but after a friend had a swamped kayak sink on her, I wanted extra flotation. The medium size is nearly a perfect fit in the bow of my boat, and fits neatly just ahead of the end of my foot pedals. The material is thick and the tie downs allow it to be anchored to the boat. The inflation tube is long enough to reach the cockpit easily.

Check inside of kayak
Great product very happy with it. Make sure you check inside you kayak. I have an 8 foot lifetime pacer and the small bag fits right up front under the logo which is held in by 2 screws. The kids kicked the bag and put 2 holes in it.

Great way to add floatation to our kayaks
We bought open Kevlar kayaks this winter and had to add floatation before putting them in the water. The NRS Standards fit perfectly. They are simple to inflate and deflate. Be sure to check the sizes before ordering. We use medium sized units as they fit nicely under the webbing in the bow and stern of our new kayaks. The NRS Standards are a high quality product at a fair price.

Works great.
Very happy. I got these to use in the bow of my pungo when its not stuffed with waterproof bags for camping. Works great. I did not add any tie downs. I inflated it in place and is holding well. May work on a forward tie in. Added bonus it comes in a nice mesh bag that ia great for shells or picking up trash while kayaking!

Fit in bow perfectly
Fit in 12 ft pungo kayak bow and blew it up. Stayed in place but i did fasten to foot peg rails with ty wraps through the eyelets. Very easy to put in place, and could not get a better fit. Should work if need arises.

Fits nicely in my Sundolphin Aurba 10'
Was looking for a good flotation bag to fit in the bow of my Sundolphin Aruba 10. This does the job nicely. Ordered another to go in the stern. Extra long inflation hose and D-rings help make the installation very easy.

There were no dimensions in the add. I made a fortunate guess about size.
