Good SA treatment resource. The product description was accurate. The book itself is well organized. The material is well suited to SA outpatient groups or individual SA clients. I read at least one review that was concerned about the publisher prohibition concerning photocopying of pages. I wrote the publisher to request permission to photocopy, and they quickly, and graciously, gave me permission to photocopy the material for SA outpatient groups.

The product description is misleading. It states that it is "all reproducible" making it seem like you can make copies for your clients. It is not reproducible. The copy write clearly states this in the front of the book.As far as the exercises, they seemed okay. Simple, maybe a little too simple. But clear and very easy to understand. I give it a low score due to the false product description.

Every page is a work sheet. Topics are simple and relevant and patients of all ages enjoy the easy to understand and informative format

Great workbook for someone incarcerated. When your in jail your not allowed many privileges and my friend was so thankful to receive this in the mail. Helpful in their recovery and to pass the time. My loved one uses it daily.

This book is excellent for clinical use! The questions are well thought out and promote self reflection.

Book allows for serious introspect and understanding with easy ability of self-help in personal journey of recovery. I recommend for anyone who is serious about recovery and getting to know themselves again.

SARW is a good start but a think you have to be more testing of addicted individuals by putting the format and illustrationsin a multiple choice format to test their comprehension. The workbook has been helpful.

This workbook looks like it will meet my needs for two different substance abuse groups I facilitate. It is easy to understand and yet offers substantive thought-provoking assignments.
