Was so excited to find an aftermarket wireless charger - made to fit my new 2018 BMW X3. First POSITIVES - very easy to install (3 min); custom “look”; phone does not slip. NEGATIVES - gets power source from the existing USB port - not nearly enough - drove for 2 hours and charge increased from only 90 to 91%; the on/off button doesn’t work (only stays off for a few seconds), shortly after charging the green light started “blinking” - instructions said “error” - charging stopped and blinking light would not re-set no matter what I did. Very disappointed - especially since had this worked it would have provided a “factory look” installed wireless charging pad.

Does not work. It’s fits nice, but, doesn’t work. After a few minutes of charging, it stops charging and just blinks green. I tried different phones and same results. I took it out of my car and plugged it into a 5v usb socket in my house and after 5 minutes the socket got extremely hot, I had to unplug it. So I’m guessing it’s probably drawing to much amperage for the one Bmw usb socket it plugs in to and that’s why it doesn’t work in the car.

The wire from the usb end of the cable needed to come out of the other side of the usb in order to get everything to fit properly. I’m not sure why this wasn’t accounted for for the 2020 BMW X3. Is there a fix for this or do I need to return? Please help. If so I will fix the review accordingly. Thanks.

I love this thing! If the charger stops working abruptly, its possible the charging coil (white hourglass shaped pad) came loose inside the unit. I removed 6 screws and noticed thats what had happened. I didn't take a pic of the loose coil, but if you remove the Hot Glue globs that were holding it in place and use some silicon or another temperature resistant glue, (I sanded the area on the base where the glue globs touch, to make a better bond) then you should be able to repair it, as I did. Be very gentle doing this as the wires are very delicate. I also added some Ventilation holes to help prevent a recurrence. Hope this helps.

Great product. I’m not in the habit of reading directions, so had missed the step regarding removing the current rubber insert before installation. Once I figured that out, it’s a 15 second installation and works great. It looks like a factory installed wireless charger. Couldn’t be happier.

Loved the product until it stopped working. It fits in my X4 2019 perfectly and has been working great - until 2 days ago. I tried everything except taking it apart. Frustrated as I really did love it.Not worth the $ if it doesn't work!

Never worked well and stopped working after 6 months Of use. It fits my BMWX3 2021 really well and looks OEM. But the unit was built with really poor quality and stopped working in about 6 months. Lost my $45!!!

This stopped working after 5 months, and now past the return or support window. Move along, don't bother.
