It resonated with me from the very beginning...in the Foreword from Edie Wadsworth, MD when she said, “Interesting things happen when you’re desperate.” That’s exactly how my journey with essential oils began on September 24, 2017! I was in a desperate place and gave pure grade essential oils a try and have never looked back!You can tell Dawn Camp put her heart into all the research required to bring this informative, yet easy-to-read book to life. She explains what essential oils are and how they work, she talks about essential oils safety, and discusses why it’s so important to only use “pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils”. I appreciate the fact that she gives clear guidance on what to look for when purchasing “pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils”.It All Began in a Garden covers 50 different essential oils. Each oil has its own chapter with what it is, how to use it, and recipes. I love that she included recipes because I’m always looking for new ways to use my essential oils!Whether you’re new to using essential oils or have been using them for a while, this book will be a valuable resource to you!

And although really pretty, what I really love is the angle this book is written from…Our good God gave us this huge resource of essential oils in nature that we can benefit from in so many ways 🌿As an essential oil user, I am always looking for different practical ways to use the oils I already have, and discover new ones for more options for health and wellness.I only buy high-quality essential oils, so there are no junk fillers or undisclosed ingredients. Dawn Camp explains WHY the best oils are more expensive and how a little goes a long way. "75 lemons to make one 15-ml bottle of lemon essential oil" phew! Helps people understand why the quality oils are not cheap.And I love the way each single oil is featured solo (50 in this book), the history of it, plus recipes and ways to use it in real life. It's really easy to find what you're looking for and be clear about what essential oils is being discussed.🌿So helpful!I know what I’ll be stocking up on for Christmas gifts this year! I love giving books to people who appreciate great resources... especially books that look this lovely!

What a delight this book is! I love how it's set up with so much helpful information! It's hard to put down because I want to take so many notes!God has blessed us with an amazing creation that surrounds us for health and healing! I love learning about the species of the plants and then how they can help us by using them as essential oils!Each chapter explains how to use the oils, which body parts are supported, and then recipes! Tips and tricks that can help us use the oil as God intended!It's important to remember why we want pure, organic oils because we want them to improve our health not diminish it! This book is great for the beginner to oils all the way to someone who has been using oils for a while! So many interesting bits and pieces!I'm so happy to add this book to my arsenal of natural health options for my family and it's a win-win when it comes from a Biblical background with references to Scripture! I highly recommend this book and can't wait to give it to those I love!

I love this book for so many reasons! The photographs taken by Dawn are just so beautiful! I am new to oils and to have someone take the time to describe over 50 oils and their uses is just an incredible resource! She also includes recipes and tips on the best uses for each oil. I love the tips about which oils work the best together to diffuse or to use in different recipes. She makes sure to include safety tips for the oils as well! But what I love most about this book is that Dawn gives all glory to God and His incredible creation!

I love this beautiful book! The format is both lovely to look at and easy to use. Dawn has written it on a way that is easy to understand even if you are brand new to the fascinating world of oils. She has included history of the plant, how it is best used, personal stories, and recipes. The recipes are for everything from diffuser blends, health and beauty, foods, drinks and more. This book is great for those new to oils and for those who have been using for a long time. It would also make a great gift.

I don’t usually write reviews, but feel lead to because this book is such a gem. If you love essential oils but don’t always know how to use certain ones or which ones are especially good for a specific purpose, you will love this book. It is laid out so well with beautiful photography. It gives you a great background on each oil and specific uses for each one. It even includes recipes. I know I will be reaching for this book time and time again as it is an amazing resource.

In this book, Dawn has researched and written on 50 different oils. She includes what they are, what to use them for, how to use them, and more! They're not just for making a room smell nice.

Oh my goodness friends, this book is a treasure trove of information!! Not only is it an amazing resource for essential oils but, the biblical references and science of these plants and oils are food for my mind and soul. Great useful information, well written and beautiful images. My highlighter got a lot of use outta this book! Great book to read for newbies and even well seasoned essential oil users. One of my favorite books to date about essential oils!
