Fantastic!
Space opera at its best - cool characters, great military SF action, and an up-close look at the fascinating Tau. A must-read for all 40k fans!

40k book about rogue traders and a big battle
I found 2 of the 3 books in this omnibus to be greatly entertaining. I love the 40k world and Andy Hoare can write well.Minor Spoiler alert...One of the books, however, centered more around a space marine character and less around the rogue traders and was too cumbersome to get through for me. It felt too much like a 40k battle being put on the page. It had its moments, but inevitably led me to put 4 stars rather than 5 for the collection.I'd still recommend this book to 40k fans or those looking into reading about the 40k universe. And the first books, I really enjoyed greatly.

Great look at a Rogue Trader's life
Excellent read into the wheelings and dealings of a Rogue Trader dynasty on a downward spiral and how an Imperial Crusade works on its highest levels.

Good but disjointed
Stories are interesting and standard fare. However, it is a little jarring when the story lines change so often.

Meh...
Story is ok but the writing is clumsy and stilted. I could not get through the second novel
