Can't wait to try it out when the Ice returns. The rod seems very sturdy and capable. The material and manufacture resulted in a very smooth rod. The eyes are in alignment and the reel mounting location works great on several different sized reels. Balance is also good. Can't go wrong with an ugly stick.

This product was given to my son as a present today, he unpacked it and it’s broken, snapped or whatever, to say he was upset would be an understatement
