I just received it minutes ago. This is not GE part WD22X10091. Deceptive listing!
DECEPTIVE PRODUCT LISTING!!I specifically was looking for GE part WD22X10091 because of the larger metal shielding. If you look at GE's parts page, it says that WD22X10091 is no longer available and that it's been replaced by WD22X33499. This item has terrible reviews for the smaller metal shielding leading to melting of the entire arm onto the heating element in the dishwasher.Well, I took a chance on this item. If you look at my first image of the arms side by side, you can see what the difference is. At closer look, the sprayer jets are also shaped differently. Not sure how that would affect things.(Picture 2)But it's got the correct item number and is in a GE product bage.(Picture 3)But what's this? The label behind the label doesn't show the same item number as the one on top. Time to very carefully peel it off.(Picture 4) The label underneath is GE part WD22X33499. The specific part I was trying to avoid. And if you look at the rest of the label, you can also see that it was packed(and purchased close to) 7/12/24. This means the seller is literally buying the wrong part from GE and selling it under the part number we want.Seems like a classic case of bait and switch.
