Nice hooks, sharp and strong. The hook is designed to hook the fish in the lip, not down the throat. It is much easier to unhook the fish and won’t harm the fish if you decide to release him back for another day. You don’t miss that fish either. I hooked 12 speckled trout and landed all 12. And all 12 were hooked in the lip.

This is a good product. And this particular size is near perfect for larger bluegill, crappie, etc., in fresh water, or the baitfish we call "Pinfish" in saltwater. I live where we have ready access to both fresh and saltwater fishing, so these are great.

Being a wire hook does flex alot. Seems like something big would straighten it. I got the 5 and is smaller than the other circle hook brands. More like their 4.

Smaller size would be nice. I thought this # 4 was large compared to other size 4 hooks. Good because the fish couldn't swallow the hook.

When the fish are cooperative, these hooks catch them. As I release many small or out of slot size or undesirable fish, I pinch the barb down. It helps ease release for both fish and fisherman without hampering my catch rate. Should be available in barb-less version.

I can take my 3 year old out and get him on some bluegill without fear of having to try to remove the hook. Great way to enjoy being on the water with my son. Crazy sharp hooks

They catch the fish in the corner of the mouth! Great for releasing the small ones back to live another day

Misleading in the description, photos and what you would think is a 12/0 hook is;; ;it's absolutely tiny,,,fish for gold fish i guess.Price for these tiny things helps with misleading to their size; I wouldn't pay .50 cents for these nevermind nearly $10....

Simply put Mustad hooks are the go to product for while fishing both fresh and salt water, regardless of the size of fish.

They sell it as if you can catch wahoo tuna etc... but look at the picture of the product i got. First time i do a review for some product but this time I did it because I am really mad.
