Izunami Iz0201m Professional Wet To Dry Styler, 1-Inch

I had had the same old wet-to-dry straightener for years, and when it broke I knew I wanted another. I've now been using this one for over a month and I really love it. This straightener works as it should...doesn't pull, straightens fast, makes my hair feel really soft and smooth (even when I was in desperate need of a haircut). I don't use it on really wet hair, just slightly damp (I have shoulder length hair and I don't like to blow-dry in the summer at all). When I have used it on wetter hair, I needed to increase the temperature a bit, and even then it didn't "dry" my hair all the way. I don't think it's really meant for that anyways. BUT...great for traveling so you don't need to bring a blowdryer. Heats up fast and gets very hot. i use it on one of the lower settings (380 degrees) and I have a mix of fine and coarse hair.

I must preface this review by saying that I have never before tried a wet-to-dry straightener, so I have no basis for comparison for this product: But I must say that it definitely did not work on my hair... It dried my hair, but it didn't straighten it, and I found that my hair is actually less frizzy when I pull it back and let it air dry before straightening it than when I used this product... I definitely had to straighten my hair with my normal Fahrenheit straightener after I used this product, so it doesn't deliver what it promises. It does however get very hot and works well as a normal straightener, but I wouldn't count on it to straighten your damp hair--works well in lieu of a blowdryer though.

I just received this and am thrilled I got this at such a terrific price. So far, works just as well as my T3 which I bought for around $200. I would love to try the titanium Izunami straightener but it is a lil more expensive so I will have to wait on that. For this price, I am concerned it will break on me any day, but for now, I love that I have this wet/dry straightner and hope it lasts. I often go to bed with wet hair. I use it when my hair is still damp in the morning, not sopping wet. I don't think that is what it is meant for...

I absolutely love my Izunami Wet-to-Dry flat iron. I'm an African-American woman without a relaxer and I was having a difficult journey keeping my hair straight (during and after straightening with a Conair flat iron)because my hair loves to soak up any moisture in the air. After straightening my hair (although it didn't look like I did), a friend used the Izunami on my bangs. There was a signifant difference! Throughout the day, my bangs continued to stay straight with a beautiful sheen and the rest of my hair frizzed out! That was the day I fell in love with a flat iron. LOL

I am dissapointed about this product, is the 3rd izunami I bought because I gave to my mon and sister also the same product and this didnt work. So I know how the product work, and this is not how it must. It turns off quicklye when I turn on. Also it usually came in a box with air bubbles (the first two izunami came with that package, and this one just came with plastic outside, no with any protection). I feel really bad and sad about this. Can you help me and tell me how to solve problem? Best regards

I am beyond happy with this product! It is a great straightener and came in a limited edition leather case. Very happy with this purchase!
