WARNING: These are NOT TUBE SOCKS!!!! A tube sock does not have any defined heel, thereby allowing a user of any size foot to wear it. Tube socks are also popular in crafts. I purchased these because I needed actual tube socks...they came labeled "dress socks" and had a clearly sewn heel. Skip the drama and go get some made in the USA true tube socks over at the sock broker.

I bought these socks based on the reviews and tempting price but I should have known better. These are a cheap and thin material not acceptable for soccer. Very similar to the thin feel of a dress sock and in fact the packaging says "Dress Sock" on it (see photo). If you are expecting them to withstand friction or hold your shinguards in place you will be disappointed.I am a 6' male, 175lbs with a size 11 shoe. The socks are large enough for my feet but do not come up to the knee and are not long enough to cover and fold over the shinguard as a standard, acceptable soccer sock will.I would have rated one star, but since the return is easy, I give it two stars for having an easy return process.I would be suspicious of fake reviews, which are quite common these days.

Although the description for these socks never claims that the fabric is thick, it is much thinner than I expected. They do feel like a men's dress sock. Also, the description specifically states that these are tube socks, but they are not. They have the shape of a normal sock with a curve for the heel. Tube socks are straight with no special provision for the heel. The socks still suit my purpose, and I am satisfied with the purchase. They are plenty long to reach up to the base of my knee, and they are comfortable. I've worn and washed them several times, and they seem to be sturdy.

These aren't like the thick football/ basketball athletic socks they use to have. I received these and they had a tag around them that said dress socks. That's what they have the feel and texture of too. They are very thin and silky like a sock you would wear with dress shoes. Very disappointed. I was wanting the thick old time knee high tube socks.

These items are clearly labeled as dress socks NOT athletic socks. They are super thin; my hand is clearly visible when placed inside the product. If this item is designed for sport use WHY is it labeled as a dress sock. This is Deceptive marketing to advertise as soccer socks on Amazon and then send a product labeled for casual use.

These are super comfy. Maybe I should only buy soccer socks from now on because most socks for men are crew or purportedly over-the-calf but most fail at that. Not these!

I wear size 5 in women's and this fit a size up. I'm 5'2 and it fits over my knee if I pull it. The material is very durable and tightly knit so as long as I don't over stretch them they fit and I still love them!! They'll shrink in the dryer hehe

Great fitting knee high socks. Exactly what I wanted. I have skinny calves and they're tight so if you have big calves, these might not work. I love them though.

Perfect fit and a great price. They fit me just like I wanted to and they are very comfortable. I would definitely buy another pair in the future. These were a very good value and good quality. Would definitely buy more again in the future!

Love these socks! My 10 year old son uses for flag football and my 7 year old son uses for soccer, on top of his shin guards! They reach above both knees and are comfortable and easy to put on!
