I bought this book so I could finally get a sneak peak into the backyards of some of the most beautiful SoCal homes. Wow! It’s chock full of exquisite photographs and insights about what went into the private gardens designed by amazing landscape architects. Jeffrey Head’s writing is rich and compelling. Now I can finally tell (and show) my gardener exactly what my fantasy backyard garden should look like and which sustainable plants to try out.
