The Best Full-Size
Yes, they have their mega-priced water board and the Tachyon, which is expensive but I can't tell you why. But this board - the "Master" has everything you need , or want, for full blowen gaming or high end graphics. We give this to most of our high-end gamers and this or the AeroD for those who are doing photo or video work.We pop this into a unit and add a Maple Thunderbolt 4.0 board to the mix and you have a unit that can do it all, and quickly.

Solid board, but beware of bugs
As most new technology, it's not without it's faults. Good news? Last BIOS update fixed random crashes with heavy I/O, but now fan control from Windows 11 doesn't work. Anyway, this board includes 10Gbe Ethernet, and maybe this is it's best feature at this price point.

Great Board
The board is easy to assemble with lots of connections for all your hardware. There are plenty of M.2 slots that you should never run out of drive space. My only problem with this board is the location of the M.2 slots. I installed two when I built the computer. If I want to add more, I'll need to remove the graphics card, and then the cover before I can access the slots to install them.

Supply Chain problem
I am unable to provide an honest review since the first board and DDR5 did not work. I've been waiting for the replacement for several days. The equipment is being shipped from Berkeley Missouri, exactly 28.9 miles from my home. I'm afraid Amazon's vaunted delivery speed has hit a bump or maybe delivery was by a 4th option, Pony ExpressUpdate: the third board came in on the same day I returned the other two to Amazon, who has really performed in this matter. The third board I was finally able to flash and the pins all looked excellent. After flashing I placed the CPU and memory on the board but it still would not boot. I sent the CPU back to Newegg for replacement. I still suspect the memory but right now I’m out about $1500 and still have no working system.Update 2: Newegg sent a replacement CPU and my system is operational with some problems.Build:Gigabyte Aoris Z690 Master32GB Corsair Dominator DDR5Intel I7-12700KWindows 11 ProWD Black NVMe SN850 1TBBSOD a few timesXMP does not seem to workIf you run it default, the system will run. Not very stable but maybe I should have opted for a different DDR5. Wish I would have stuck to TUF Gaming. More stable and DDR5 really doesn't do much better than DDR4 @3200. The worst part is that I do not game, I just thought all the hype about DDR5 was true, it's not.

Awesome board!
Board was perfect, easy build with no problems. Performance is great, solid as a rock. It's got all the features of a premium gaming board and is especially good if you want a lot of M.2 slots for SSDs. I bought the DDR5 version and added some Trident RAM. The thing screams, with a core i7 (Alder Lake) it's 99th percentile across the board on PerformanceTest. Can't speak for tech support because I didn't need any. One thing - flash the BIOS before you do anything - it's easy and will fix a known issue with the DDR5 interface. The only other oddity I noticed is that the on board video has only a display port, no built-in HDMI. If you don't have a display port monitor this could be an issue but most consumers of this board (gamers) probably already do use display port and would add a video card anyway. Buy it - it's a solid board.

Another step back for personal privacy
It’s become pretty clear that Microsoft is intent on turning the personal computer into the digital equivalent of broadcast TV, only with far deeper hooks into your personal privacy and more invasive advertising. And now, it seems, Microsoft has enlisted motherboard manufacturers, like Gigabyte, in that quest. So while you can turn off wired Ethernet, or onboard video or audio in this motherboard's BIOS, you can’t turn off Wifi. What’s more, boot managers like Windows, Linux Grub and even 3rd party boot managers like BootIt, are saved in the UEFI bios permanently so that even if you physically remove the boot drive or clear your CMOS, the inaccurate boot management info remains. Only a complete bios update clears the boot information. In addition, some software, like 2010 and 2013 versions of Microsoft Visio, for instance, won’t install on this board at all. During setup Visio will scan your PC find something it doesn’t like and reboot. Of course, Gamers will love the speed increase of the z690 chipset. But if you are wary of recen PC “improvements” like your computer mouse talking to the cloud, video card telemetry and almost every piece of software want to connect to the Internet, stay away from this platform.

The Best z690 On The Market.
Looks excellent, performs better than any other z690 mobo and is jam packed full of features, some I haven't even seen before. The error code feature was also incredibly helpful, PC wouldnt boot due to running legacy on os whilst bios defaulted to uefi, would have taken much longer to figure out if not for the code.
