I purchased this lighter to light candles in my home. I really, really wanted to like this product so I wouldn't have to keep purchasing regular flame lighters that run out of fuel and just have to be thrown away and repurchased. I loved the idea of recharging the lighter and the flexible neck and just being able to touch the arc to ignite the wick. I was disappointed on the most important point. Yes it recharges great, yes the neck flexes well, it just takes forever to light even one candle. you have to hold the arc on the wick quite a while to get it to ignite, much longer than a regular lighter. For me it just takes too long. The novelty isn't worth the extra time it takes. I wouldn't recommend.

Without a doubt, you can use this on a candle, or some other inside function that you need it for. However, trying to use it to light an outdoor fire was a little trickier and took several times to get it to light. But it did work. And it does hold a charge for a little while. But you probably want to make sure you remember to charge it before you need it.

I Use this for candles. I like that I don’t have to worry about refilling with lighter fluid. Pretty easy to use. However the battery life is super low-I have to recharge after lighting 5-6 candles. Luckily it charges up very fast. But don’t think about using this anywhere that doesn’t have easy access to a plug.

Pensé que no iba a poder prender mis velas nunca más porque se me había doblado el pistilo pero con este producto lo logre! Tanto como velas y saumerios. También sirve para cocinas y otros productos con escandido con fuego. La batería no dura tanto como dicen pero si se carga muy rápido!

Original Product - When I opened the packaging, it was fully charged. I tested it lighting 1 candle.. total burn time was under 2 seconds. I turned it off. When I turned it back on again, there was no power at all. I plugged it in using the included USB cable. After about a minute, still no power indication, but when I picked it up, the handle was hot to the touch, I quickly unplugged it and then noticed the smell of burned wiring... I think the it shorted out. I am requesting a replacement so I will update this review once I get it.Got the replacement, very happy with this item. Tested items 3 times... no issues with hot handle. The lighter power stayed charged.

The product was good while it lasted. However, it lasted only two months before malfunctioning. Wouldn't recommend paying this price for something that can last only this long.
