Stabila25360 TYPE 81 SV REM W360 10in Die Cast

I purchased this level with the Stabila 30003 Nylon Case.After careful consideration, and a long debate with myself, I finally decided to fork out the extra for the top-of-the-line Stabila level, versus the lower priced model. I'm glad I did.The level is of high quality, it's easy to use, and it's easy to see. The magnet is very strong. I have no worries about it falling off of metal pipe or conduit. This is an important piece of mind, given the cost of this precision tool. It fits very well and securely in the nylon holster (not included). If you've got the extra dough, you can't go wrong.I've been an industrial maintenance technician for 15+ years and have worked in many types of manufacturing and production type facilities. The challenges my tools face are steep. Every tool adds weight to my bag and must earn their place as highly valuable and a "must-have" tool. This has earned a permanent spot in my bag.The only con about this tool is the price. However, for those who know: you get what you pay for. High quality, precision, durability, and reliability are definitely aspects which accurately describe this tool.

Was worried at first. a lot of people saying it’s fake or Chinese, mine seems definitely authentic. The quality is amazing. Best torpedo I’ve used. The dial isn’t as useful as I thought it would be as a plumber, it tends to get stuck from dirt and metal dust. I don’t use it really either though. Is tough though glass is still crystal clear after lots of abuse and super accurate. If it is a fake, it’s a good enough fake I would gladly pay $85 for again.

Bought this for work. Sturdy construction and strong magnet. My only issues is that the magnet is offset from center on the bottom which to me doesn't make much sense. It sort of throws the thing off balance if you are fitting a flange or something that isn't flat or pipe-like. Move the damn magnet to the center people!Other than that it a great middle between the craptastic Chinese BS that you can pick up anywhere and a machinist level. It's accurate and the dial angle finder is handy. Mainly purchased it because of the metal construction that so far has been able to withstand the elevated temperatures we use it on.

This little Stabila is my first experience with the company, and I'm impressed. It's precise and accurate and built to last you a lifetime, unless you decide to drop it on concrete from an airplane. The rotating level is a really nice feature that allows you to measure slope and match when needed. The magnetic bottom holds onto ferrous surfaces securely and all the vials are very easy to read and sit in their own little sealed chambers, providing further protection. Stabila says they guarantee the level for life. I hope they mean what they promise.

Good product, not the issue though, the product is overpriced. It’s made in Germany, but it’s just overpriced.

Quality built level, as expected. Large horizontal dial is easy to read, and the adjustable angle is great for running conduit and doing bends. V-groove bottom clings to pipes and holds firm, even 1/2". The magnet on this thing means business, so watch your fingers. I thought it was odd only having one magnet at first, but it actually works quite well. Pricy, but if you've got the money to spend its worth it. I've had several others, and nothing compares.

Stabila torpedo levels are the best money can buy, however the adjustable vial level, this level is a let down.The degree markings easily rub off, and it is difficult to adjust the vial to level to find out the angle of the surface.I have other Stabila levels, and I'll continue to buy more, but this is not one I'd recommend anyone buy...just buy the regular Stabila torpedo level instead and save yourself the disappointment.

Nothing compares to stabila. Quality tools worth the little bit extra. If you appreciate the details and feel of a quality tool you won't be disappointed.I see some people complaining about their dial being off .5 of a degree on the dial. If you're worried about .5 of a degree a torpedo level probably isn't the tool you're looking for.

This bullet level is pricey but it is well made. Fit and finish are great and the magnet is powerful. I was disappointed that the only thing that came in the box was the level itself. Stabila indicates that this level comes with a holster but there was none in the box. I did need to go to the Stabila web site to download some instructions for the level. Most importantly there are two screws on the back side of the rotating bubble. You need to loosen these screws before the bubble glass can be rotated to the different degree indications on the dial. I checked both the 0 and 90 degree orientations and they aligned well with the embedded bubble glass for those same positions. When I did my background research before buying this unit I was quite impressed with the quality control that goes into Stabila's fabrication process for levels, they really are very well made.
