Star Wars Romper Obi-Wan Kenobi

$20 is cheap for most things right now, we got this outfit for my sons 2 year cake smash. It’s fleece so a little hot to wear in summer lol but we were indoors. The Velcro made it super easy to take him potty and you can slip it on and off quickly. He had a black and grey cake 🫣 but I just sprayed some dreft and washed it and it looks new :) my son is a big boy 32lbs and tall but this fit perfectly!

I bought this for my son to wear next Halloween when we go to Disneyland because we were all going to dress up in a Star Wars theme. Right now he is 18 months and 25 lbs and about 30 inches tall or so but he will be 2 by Halloween. The costume is cute and seems nice quality. It's soft and warm but not overly so which is good. However, I bought the 1-2 years size and it is huge!! I know my son has 6 months to grow into it but he will just be over 2 years old at Halloween and I don't see him growing enough to fit in this costume. It's so tall that I think I might have to save it for the Halloween after next when he is 3 years old. I hope he wants to go as a Jedi then otherwise this costume will have been a waste of money. I bought a cute inflatable lightsaber separately to go with which I recommend to complete the costume. It's so hard to buy costumes online but if you wait to buy them in store during the Halloween season they are too expensive so that's why I'm shopping online so early. If you do the same, just make sure you order down a size on this costume.

I bought this for my 2 year old who will be 2.5 in October when Halloween comes around. I trusted the reviews that said it ran large and am not disappointed! He's about 31" tall and about 28 lbs and this fits great with a little growing room to spare! I'm so glad that it runs big because he hates anything with a hood or hat. The material is very soft, something I'd expect from a baby costume. It's light weight but seems like it will be warm enough with long sleeves and pants underneath.The costume has Velcro for the legs and crotch and goes on like a romper. There are elastics at the bottom of the pant legs that you can put under their socks/shoes to make the bottom cover their shoes and look like boots. This is great because now he can wear his sneakers and be comfortable walking.Overall the quality of this costume is what I've come to expect from any affordable kids costume. It will definitely hold up for Halloween and probably dress up too, but I'm not going to risk throwing it in the washer. It's an awesome value for the price, I'm very happy with it!

Overall, this is a really cute outfit and my son looked adorable for Halloween. That said, the 1-2 year was a bit large for him at 18months in the length of the sleeves and the legs, but about right in the torso length. I ended up taking off the bottom of the "boot covers" because they were way too big, and rolling the sleeves.I found the easiest way to get him into this outfit was to keep the legs velcroed and and drop him in through the neck hole. I think that the leg velcro was intended to make this easier for diaper changes, but it was easier to take him completely out of it for us.

First off, DO NOT expect your 1-2 year old to wear this with out them swimming in it. I got this for my 4 year old after originally buying the Jedi costume for 3-4 year olds (as it says) and it fell off him. This one however fit my 4 y/o perfect. He is small for a 4 year old but still......don't listen to the 1-2 year olds that it states it's for. It isn't. However, it is very warm and detailed pretty good. The material is not bad either. Did I say it was pretty warm? It def is. The bottom that makes up the boots are kind of cheezy (I got my son real boots to wear)but all in all as an entirety it is pretty good. I am going to try to put up a pic for viewing under the product description.

It was cute not the best quality but the Velcro closure allowed for easy diaper change. My guy at 18 month was in the 99 percentile for height and it was JUST long enough. We live where it's warm year round and this was light enough to keep him comfortable but could easily put it over warmer clothing. Be aware it is a little see through if the underclothes have a lot of writing or color contrast. One solid color underneath will work well.

My 18-month old looked adorable in this costume. My main concern was finding something that could be worn over warm clothes and easy to get on and off. My first thought when opening the package was that it looked a little cheap but once we tried it on my son, it looked fairly cute, especially when he held his light saber. It was a little difficult to get on and off due to the snap placements. At first glance, it snaps like a onesie but the legs are all sewn up so it took some maneuvering. Also, the elastic stirrup broke within 5 minutes of my son having it on...so that was a fail but not an overall ruiner. All in all, for a one time wear item, it was a good buy.

I think making Halloween costumes as comfortable as possible for babies and toddlers is key, especially if they have to wear them all day in daycare. We don't need to them to be uncomfortable and sweaty, and diaper changing should be easy to do even with the costume on. This was absolutely terrific, it fit over my little one's clothes, and was a perfect fit. Now, I should qualify this by saying that like other reviewers, I had to make a couple of attempts here because the sizes run way big. After reading reviews, I ordered the 6-12 month size but my 18-month old (he was around 23 lbs) was drowning in it so I returned it and ordered this newborn size instead, which fit him exactly, hence I chose "fit as expected" above.
