Valley Industries SG-5518-18 18 Grip Deluxe Agricultural Spray Gun Black

I bought this sprayer wand to replace a similar broken one on my tank sprayer. I am impressed with the quality of the spray wand. I used it to spray my fenceline and driveway and it worked perfectly. The spray adjusted from a wide, fine spray to a stronger stream that covered the fenceline from the other side of the ditch, approximately 6 feet distance. No leaks.

Purchased this for my weed sprayer. It has been excellent! It functions flawlessly and after over a year, it is still flawless.Thank you!

Well made and comfortable to use. Much better quality than most similar products out there. The adjustable nozzle is precious. A little more expensive than some but well worth the money.

It performed very well. Much better than the junky, flimsy, plastic thing that came with the sprayer from Rural King. We use it to spray cattle, mounted to a sprayer in the rear of a utility vehicle. It can do a wide mist or a more narrow spray for something at a distance. The only negative was that when I ordered it seemed to insinuate that the brass fitting came with the wand. It does not, hence four instead of five stars.

Much better than the ones I been buying at the local farm supply store. Also a little more expensive too, but well worth the upgrade. Pattern out the end of the nozzle it much more uniform. Also the old wand I was using screwed together between the handle and trigger and it would randomly come apart pumping a stream of poison out until you could get the pump shut off. This one does not have that problem because of the design.Mine came with a 3/8 barb fitting as described. Which means the outside diameter of the barb fitting is 3/8 inch. That means you need a hose with a 3/8 inch inside diameter. Just throwing that out there because of some discrepancies in some other reviews.

This sprayer wand has a great grip comfort and the design is perfect for a tank style sprayer. I will be using it to spray weeds, brush, and etc. I have a 16gal tank sprayer with a 2.2 gpm pump an this wand will spray approximately 20ft +/-. I have the setup mounted on my zero turn mower so I can spray while mowing yards and etc. I would Recommend this item to anyone needing a new or better sprayer wand.

The valve on big box sprayers goes bad in a year or so and I got miffed at routinely replacing an otherwise working sprayer just because of the valve. The big box sprayers have a 1/4 inch ID hose (and accordingly, a 1/4" fitting). This Valley Industries spray gun has a 3/8" hose barb. The one trip to Home Depot I was willing to make for an adapter did not result in finding a one-piece 1/4" barb 3/8" barb adapter. I got 2 adapters with MIP being the common element between them. No big deal.This Valley Industries spray gun is such a huge improvement, I regret not going this way long ago.
