excellent item!
This is a steal for the cost of the reel, I bought a second reel because this is such a smooth action and instant stop with no back running of the reel. for the price of this reel I would match this up with against any other for performance, quality and smooth action.

Amazing reel!!
OMG this reel is "reel-y" amazing!! (Pun intended). Ok, jokes aside, this reel competes with my Penn Pursuit reel. Smoothe action, beautiful red color, and you can cast a mile with it!! For the price, it is so worth the investment. Plus, you'll have an amazing reel that will last a long time.

Awesome reel, although I had to shave the base of it down to fit into the slots on the pole.

Smooth!
So far a great reel. Paired it with an ugly stick for one of my sons. I like it better than my own setup!Also, the gear reduction ratio is great, it retrieves lots of line with each turn.
