We needed a shaded area for our dogs to move to after sunning themselves on the deck. 10-15 minutes is their limit when it's hot and humid. This was the simplest remedy to a cooler area and no hot paws when they let us know they are done with their sun time and want to come back inside to the AC..It also helps shield the screened porch from midday sunChose the sand color 8x10 and the reflected light brightens the room inside coming through the windows.A simple install and has stood up fine to many heavy thunder storms with winds. Particularly like the mesh material that dries out fast yet still blocks the sun's rays as good as is claimed.We also used the Love Story hardware kit. The components are heavy duty compared to some others.Feel very confident with this holding it on. Although everything supplied with the shade and install kit was more than adequate, our install span required longer ropes. We used 200 lb paracord on 2 corners.When we need to replace this shade sail (or add another) one day, we'll order the same. Great quality at a fair price.Very pleased. Thanks for reading.

I have only purchased from LOVE STORY, and I don't think I'll be switching any time soon. The colors are wonderful (we have 2 red in our backyard, 1 blue in our front) and provide a nice, calming ambient light when the sun hits. Plus, it keeps our sliding doors from receiving too much California sun in the summer. Just don't expect anything underneath the shade sail to remain dry during rain, water will drip through.

I have to blame myself for this bit of a mistake. But also a little bit on the seller. This is the second sun sail I have bought from this company unfortunately I didn't investigate enough and assumed all of the sails were made from the same material. The first was waterproof and UV resistant, the second, I just assumed, was the same but found that it was not waterproof. It has the UV resistance, important, but would have liked it to be waterproof. I take some blame but wish that the seller would better define which ones are waterproof and which ones are not. That's my only complaint otherwise the sun sail is fantastic.Be aware that this is 18 ft to the DOT and not any shorter. My hangers were 18 ft with a few inches on the end for my spring clips, this didn't work out as the middle sagged a bit. I ended up having to use zip ties until I could find a shorter connection.I will be ordering more from this company, just be a little more cautious when checking the description. Seems to be quality material and the d rings at the end are very secure.

Seams are sewn together with attention to detail especially where the stainless steel "D" rings are attached. The fabric quality is excellent, we bought two triangles to fill in the gaps on each end.For outdoor use in So. Cal this is exactly what we were looking for.

Triangle shades are more resistant to the high-winds in Malibu. They look great if you use the correct metaltightening hardware and cement strong poles to the earth. Lay the shades out on the ground fist too get the correct position for the poles. After the fast cement is dry you can set them up easy. You can do many configurations to block the sun. They look good. Still have to tighten the hardware tomorrow after the cement fully cures.

We love that these shades. They may be inexpensive but they are far from cheaply made!! The 2 years we've used these shades, through windy, rainy weather, they've held up so well. The afternoon sun is so intense we couldn't walk on our deck, now we can and it's added 20 feet to our living space. They're wonderful & I only wish we had purchased them earlier

Replacing a 7x13 shade purchased years ago from C…t…o As 7 feet wasn’t quite wide enough and 13 was a little long, thought I would try this 8x10 and should fill my space a little better. Wrong, this shade may measure 8 feet from D ringing to D ring. So if you are looking to fill 8 feet of air you may have to order a larger one to compensate. Got it up today and am letting it sit to let it stretch out before final attachment.Only time will tell as for durability.. it is ok, the shade had no holes a few pieces of braided rope, for maybe a quick set up. D rings seemed goood too, although I won’t be using them.

Sturdy and more water resistent than I was expecting. Don't listen to the instructions that it will tighten up in the sun, though, just cinch it to bejesus right away.

Product was exactly as described. We just had a massive rain storm and I left it up while I watched to see what would happen. Works well in heavy rain and moderate wind (I’ve only had it a few days) I thought the blue would be more navy (my error now that I look again) so I do not recommend the blue as it looks like we cut a blue tarp from a box store in 1/2. I would buy again but in a different colour.The only thing I would recommend is to buy other hardware to install it. The rope provided is great for getting an idea about where it will attach in order to then go and buy appropriate hardware to hang.
