Yep, it's a grade 8 bolt.
Who knows were it's made. Box says: Made in USA, China, Taiwan or Thailand. Packaged in USA. I did purchase this item "discounted" Condition: Used - Like New - Looks and functions as if it were new. Moderate packaging damage observed during inspection. I only received 19 of the 25 bolts. I did not take stars off for that because it is a product review. The people that inspect returned items spend very little time inspecting them and have very little knowldge about the product, from my experience. I have gotten items that said "like new" and they were used, abused and scratched all to hell, and gotten others that said Used - Acceptable, which is their lowest grade, and they looked almost perfect. It seems it is pretty much a crap shoot what you get no matter what the condition is listed as. I will keep these because I got them for a discount, didn't need 25, and it is not worth my time to return them.

Quality fastener
Not much to say about a grade 8 bolt except that it seems to be of high quality and the threads are clean and smooth make assembly with a nut real easy.One complaint I have is that they are not sold in smaller packages. I only needed one bolt but this size was not available anywhere I could find within 1/2 hour drive. It would have been better for me if I could have bought only what I needed.
