Great product
This product is awesome and a long time coming. I have 64in windows and the venting that goes with the air-condition fall miserable short. For better insulation and noise alleviating I use the small insulation tubes for outdoor pipes. Works like a dream.... My only complaint is why can't we get these in colors??

Necessary purchase for my sunroom AC installation
My sunroom windows were too tall to use the vent kit included with my new portable AC unit, so I had to buy this and adapt it to my window. It works fine. I removed one star because I really feel that this was very overpriced. But, since I had no other option for installation, I bit the bullet and paid the money.

Great quality even better instructions
The media could not be loaded. I tried three different vents before coming across this one and yes, more expensive but it's more expensive for a reason. It's a very high-quality with great instructions and easy to assemble with all the necessary items, including HVAC tape to seal all the little open areas would definitely recommend recommended buy again.

Portable?
The intent of this product is to assist with another product. A portable product. Other then the main pieces being easy to assemble. Not much thought more went into the product. It doesn’t account for the sliding door latch in the channel. I started checking other peoples doors and it’s a consistent design in nearly all sliding doors. By not accounting for the latch it makes it challenging to keep the panel in place with a good seal. The other issue is the amount of space from the edge of the panel and the air duct. When I use the panel in a window with out a latch. The panel is to deep, blocking the opening for the air duct. We need either the same size panel but use the oval style air duct connector. Or make the panel wider to all the edge to fit deeper into the window frame. The insulation seems to be just a long role of foam with a sticker backing. For someone who uses our portable AC unit only during the summer. This means we have 1 time use insulation or we attach it to our sliding door year round and we have to see it when the ac unit is in a closet.

Perfect solution
I purchased this for my neighbor that had a portable air conditioner but didn't want it in the bedroom. I started looking for a solution so they could use it in the living room using the sliding door. I looked at a few different ones and am so glad that I decided on this one. The fit was perfect and it was super easy to put in. They love that they can still open the door to go out while the unit is in place. Highly recommend.

Review for LG LP1022FVSM
Hi! If you just purchased the LG LP1022FVSM like I did (so far really happy with that ⛄️) and you don’t know which size to get, get the 5.9 inch package. The 5.1 is too small but since the reviews for these products are all jumbled together it’s hard to differentiate what goes with what. It took me a few different models of sliding door vent units to try but this one worked the best. You will need to replace the manufacturer hose head with the one in the kit. The one in this kit isn’t as good of quality as the LG one, but how silly is LG for not selling a sliding door kit or even giving me the option to buy one or two more sliders for a vent for my door?! Grrrr. Anyways, I am not the handiest of people but I set it up with no problem. It does the job. Is it perfect? No, but like I said, I am happy to have something that fits my slider and doesn’t look too bad.

Taped it to the wall so it wouldn't fall off
This seemed like a genius idea. In the past we had fabric things that took up the whole door and you had to unzip it to get outside. You also couldn't see through them, which very annoying.I bought this back in April when I first saw them. I swear there were not two sizes listed or else I would have measured our exhaust tube. I ended up with the small one and we have the big tube.My the time we went to install it, we past the return window. I communicated with the seller through Amazon messaging. I asked if there was an adaptor. He asked if the product number of the bigger one would work and I said yes. Heard nothing back. Finally asked him about if he was offering to switch it out or not and he said they come from China and there are no adaptors. Why did he keep emailing me if there was nothing he could do?Finally it got hot here are we went to install it. It's a complete joke and not in a funny way. The plastic is flimsy and the skinnier "inner" panels that slip into the wider "outer" ones have an extra quarter to half inch of open space after you close the sliding door against it.We could not get it to stand up on its own so we finally taped it to the plastic frame around the sliding glass door. Our tube turned out to be extra complicated because our main tube was the bigger size but it had a size down joint on it to the smaller size. It just wouldn't connect with the provided out-vent part that clicks into the hole in this product. So we taped them together too.We used their weather stripping to try to close up the gaps. It fell off so I ordered a better quality product on Amazon. The gaps between the smaller and larger with plastic sheets sometimes required two layers so we could close the sliding glass door against it and have minimal gaps. Turns out that that stuff doesn't like to be taped in two layers together either, so some of that isn't staying on. More tape is probably in the future.I REALLY want this to work and like it. I'm surprised there are so many positive reviews. I'm usually pretty good at making something like this work (even if it needs to be finessed) that I was super frustrated. So, thanks to a lot of tape, it's doing its job and next summer I'll look for another brand. Maybe someone makes it out of aluminum or something other than flappy plastic that will have more "standing" power.
