Jamo C601 Compact Speaker (Single, Black)

I have these installed as the surrounds for my 5.1 system. The fronts are Jamo 605s and a Jamo 60 center. I love all these speakers.The spec says for low frequency response these go to 65hz. Well, Audyssey on my Denon 1911 crossed these over at 40hz, meaning their -3db value (where is freq response rolls off) is less the 40hz. This low result shows how much low frequencies these speakers can produce. Granted the 40hz cross-over can be partially influenced by my room and installation. Also note that I raised the cross-over up to 80hz anyway, but still wow, what great response.I only listened to these speakers for the first couple weeks as surrounds. I was impressed. However, I recently started to listen to some music in multi-channel stereo, just to be able to hear what these speakers can do with normal consistent music (not just surround effects, etc). I was impressed. They are very full sounding. If I needed a set of small speakers for another room, I would buy another set of these. I'm very happy with them.

I use this as desktop computer speakers and they are perfect size except little bit deeper than I wanted, but they were not designer for PC speakers anyway. The sound is amazing! Crystal clear highs well defined mids and they go down to 65hz I feed them 60 watts per channel with rotel amp and they fill the entire living room with sound. Forgot to mention they sound much better if you are 4-5 feet away from them and I think they would make an audiofile grade mains if you add a sub.
