Ball Mason Jar-64 oz. Clear Glass Wide Mouth Ball Half Gallon - One Jar

I bought this jar to hold my sea salt on a kitchen shelf. I have a larger one that holds pasta. It works exactly as intended and looks great. I have a slight obsession with Ball Jars, old and new. I love them for all types of storage in my kitchen, office, and bathroom (cottonballs, QTips, etc.) Common items just look more organized in them, and it keeps out any moisture. For starters thick glass walls on this jar have already saved us more than once with accidental drops! The size is perfect to hold 2 lbs of onion powder and the lid seals perfectly for everyday use or if you need more longterm storage it can be heat processed.

Arrived wrapped well in bubble wrap inside it’s own box inside my Amazon box. Good price for the single mason jar and worked well for what I needed.

I drink iced coffee daily, and I make it in this with the mesh insert that is available for it . Just load the mesh insert with ground coffee beans and fill the jar with cold water and put it in the frig for 12-24 hours, then remove the mesh piece and pour the coffee over ice. It's wonderful. This makes about 6 glasses. The coffee is condensed so I double it with water in the glass. You can vary the amount of coffee in the mesh piece to create the intensity you want. This is simply a sturdy classic large tall jar. The perfect thing.

I wasn't sure if this was going to be too big but it is just right. I do a lot of herbal tea blends and these are perfect for storing these.

Exactly as expected. Placing a half-gallon tea bag inside, filling with boiling water, and screwing on the top seals ice tea that can be stored outside the refrigerator until ready for first use and then refrigerated.

Can't go wrong with Ball Mason Jars. This size (32 oz) is not easy to come by in stores so was happy to find it on Amazon. Delivery was prompt.

Ball jars are the gold standard in canning. You can’t do better. Just great!
