I ordered two Double Wall Backflow Preventer Insulators from Amazon from the company Redford Supply Co. I paid up front for both but we received only one. I tried over and over to have Amazon make this right with no success. Then I decided to contact the company Redford Supply where they came from. Immediately they had a live chat with me and said they were sorry for my trouble and once they had my Amazon order number, they sent the missing insulator. It arrived the next day. Also, the quality of these products from Redford are very durable and highest qualilty. I recommend this company with the highest praise. Thank you for making me a happy customer. Our daughter just ordered some for her home also.

Have only had this product for a short while and used during a short freeze. Cannot comment yet how well it will work during a longer freeze.

I'm SO impressed with this insulated cover. It's extremely well made of very attractive and durable material; not the flimsier material I've found with other covers. It's very versatile and is completely customizable. My sprinkler apparatus includes an in-wall backflow pipe which prevents a cover from simply slipping over the entire apparatus. But, because this cover has velcro & grommets on 3 sides, the cover is able to be adjusted so that it can accommodate the pipe sticking out of the wall. I'm not at all mechanically inclined, so at first I couldn't figure out how to get around the problem of the pipe sticking out of the wall. So, I called Redford, and was able to speak with an actual human, Dinesh, who walked me through step by step how to install this cover in order to provide the maximum level of protection for my pipes. I sent him pictures so that he could see what my exact issue was. Dinesh was so nice, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Bottom line . . . this product provides customers with the complete package: an incredibly strong, well made, high quality, versatile insulating cover and SUPERB customer service to back it up! A++++++++

We bought 2 of their products for our well pressure tank and our filtration at our well. We do not have a structure around the well and are hoping these provide some insulation during the winter until we can get our structure built this spring. So far seem to be working as described. The fabric is heavy duty and is well made. Seems to protect against wind, sun, and water. I would buy again from this company and I like that they are local in Texas.

While this isn't a perfect fit it works fine. I have a pipe that enters the wall of the house from the middle top of the valve. It is not a perfect seal but works well in our SW Arizona winters.

I used the item to cover the water softener bypass valve/water pipes that I had installed outside. It had a bypass valve located outside that I was unable to use during the unusually freezing weather last Feb. 2021. Even though a bypass valve is available, I think it would have froze anyway as it was located outside. Needless to say, I had no water for a week during that time. The originally-ordered item was unavailable so a replacement item was sent. It had a note stating to call them and to use the item as a temporary replacement. I was already returning item but gave them a second chance as the weather here in Texas was getting below 32F and I had to use the sent item temporarily. Denish (the distributor of the product) stated that I can keep the sent item and will send me the correct item once it became available. The product is advertised for use with the backflow unit (sprinklers) but I'm using it for something else. Anyway, he recommended using the same product for the backflow unit. He sent me an additional free backflow cover plus the correct cover that I both installed. The two items are customization so I was able to cover the other pipes and supports, positioned at different locations on walls. Did I tell you the backflow cover (in the pictures) was sent to me for free because of the backorder problem? I still have the temporary cover that he said I can keep. I say that "excellent customer service".

Using this along side pipe insulators as we live in New England and our winters are pretty cold. Material seems made well, and I like that they included ties to use as well. One advice I would give is to order two size up on width size. I originally placed an order for one larger than our current measurements and it was way too small. Decided to go up two sizes, and now it fits perfect, with just a bit of extra room.

It took over three weeks to get the item after ordering one and finding out it was not available after waiting over a week. But when I finally found one that was available and ordered one it arrived as expected. It kept the taps flowing during a deep freeze of ten days. I'm very grateful.
