Winning Images with Any Underwater Camera: The essential guide to creating engaging photos Paperback – May 31, 2014

This a must buy for the serious underwater photographer. It is the ultimate technical guide to composition.

As an underwater photographer with some experience, I appreciated a book that focused on the composition rather than technicalities (the exception to that was the section on image processing).The book covers "rules" of composition in the context of underwater photography. The writing is clear and concepts are illustrated with examples which are quite stunning on their own. (I bought the kindle version which takes a bit out of that experience.)I learned from reading the book (didn't have a chance to see how this impacted my photographs yet). I liked the "case studies" at the end of the book that prepare the mindset and consideration for specific situations.On the downside, I felt that at times the text was a bit repetitive and overall it was a bit of a short read.Disclaimer: I didn't read much about photography composition in general, and so cannot compare this book to ones aimed at broader class of photographers.
