These were a great help when fitting a 6-metre curtain track. After stretching a string across the bi fold doors, I used several of these levels along the string for an accurate placement of the brackets. Cheap but they do work. Just ensure the "bubble" is sitting correctly in the plastic holder. It wasn’t on some of mine but easily remedied with a quick press down.

Would 100% hang my hat on these in terms of accuracy, but they’re handy little things.

Bubbles seemed accurate enough to run a string line for fencing and for the price hard to go wrong. If in any doubt, place the vial on a surface (referencing the exact position) Take note of the bubble position Now turn the vial 180 degrees and place in the same referenced position If all is well with the vial, the bubble should be in the 'exact' same position. If not, you have a dodgy vial (spirit level) This test can be used across the board for ALL spirit levels. It is surprising how a little know can make them unusable. Always safe to check a level by this method before using. They do go out of level!
