For heat lovers
There's nothing wrong per se with the product. It's a soupy version, unlike the very thick lentil purees many restaurants and takeaways serve. No problem, we have naan. My issue with it is the heat level. I'm a mild to medium person, other diner is medium to hot. Even after I'd removed the whole red chili from mine, the chopped chillies in the sauce made it way out of my comfort zone. Picked out some of the lentils which were soft and tasty, but the gravy..... On turning to my side, I was greeted with someone who had a running nose, coughing and only managed around half themselves before admitting defeat! If you like your tadka dahl HOT, this is definitely for you!

Only one sachet - and a small one.
The dal was delicious but a tiny quantity. Just one sachet, not 20 as per the description. Very disappointing.

Very expensive... Go to Asda
When I ordered these I didn't realise it was only 2 packets! So that's my mistake, the product is really good but it cost £1.60 a packet in Asda. The star rating if for the price.
