Best Blackberry flavored coffee that I've found
If you want a delicious Blackberry flavored coffee, San Marco is what to buy. The makers of San Marco usually skimp on the flavorings of their flavored coffees (strawberry, choc. Orange, etc...) but surprisingly the BlackBerry beans have a great aroma & flavor. The others can sadly be found elsewhere, i.e. Christopher Bean brand coffees.*When grinding our own blends of flavored coffee beans, the coarser the grind, the less acidic, and adding Kona to the blend also makes a very smooth layer to any blend. If you want a delicious cup of Blackberry flavored coffee, San Marco will get you there... We grind a blend of 6 parts Blackberry to 3 parts "Christopher Bean" brand Chocolate Decadence to 2 parts Kona. You end up with a deliciously smooth blend to start your day, that is a pleasure to sip back and say, "Aaah".BTW: Christopher Bean has so many delicious flavors (and they don't skimp on flavor) they just don't have Blackberry. We haven't met one of their flavors yet that we didn't like (sorry San Marco). Also, a great value for the $$

Smells Great, Tastes Horrible!
I'm pretty bummed about this coffee. I had high hopes, as I've purchased other San Marco coffee in the past and really enjoyed it. Perhaps it is due to the fact I bought whole beans this time and have previously bought only ground.Regardless, upon opening the bag, I was greeted with beautiful shiny beans and an absolutely intoxicating vanilla scent. It filled my kitchen and made me eager to prepare a batch. I ground the beans in my burr grinder, and the lovely vanilla smell became even stronger. I was drooling at this point and could not wait for my first cup! I measured out the coffee for my French press and waited patiently for coffee bliss. Once it was ready, I sat down to savor my cup. I always smell my brewed coffee before taking that first sip, and I found myself a bit taken aback. That beautiful vanilla scent had now turned into a burned plastic scent. I was puzzled but still took that first sip. UGH! It tasted worse than it smelled. For the record, I only drink black coffee, so it's not like I would have to worry about spoiled cream or the like.I thought maybe something was wrong with my French press or favorite mug, so I thoroughly washed and dried both and attempted another batch of coffee. Unfortunately that beautiful vanilla aroma turned to a disgusting plastic, chemical like taste. I'm heartbroken.

Toxic smell
I ordered this in the past as Keurig used to have this type of K-Cups coffee. This particular coffee has toxic smell to it. I ignored the smell and made the coffee anyway. Hmmm... not a smart idea - had a toxic taste and Would not recommend. It may be just a personal opinion but I m wondering what they sprayed on these coffee beans is not meant for human consumption.

But this coffee really left a bad taste. I was looking for a flavor I'd ...
I've never written a negative review before. But this coffee really left a bad taste. I was looking for a flavor I'd used decades ago - Emerald Cream - by a specialty coffee no longer available. Emerald Cream is essentially Irish Cream with hint of chocolate. Not only did it not come close, it was unacceptable coffee. I don't know if i got a bad batch or what, but just looking at the beans there was something "artificial" about them. My grinder thought so too, as it left a film. Then, when brewing, it smelled like something was burning. And the taste, equally "burn" tasting. Folder's Instant is far better, if you need a comparison.

NO blueberry aroma; grind not fine enough
Bag arrived with opening in package. There was no Blueberry aroma whatsoever. Gevalia had this product and it was exceptional. However they stopped carrying most of their flavored coffees AND their specialty blends from ethopia were exceptional as well. I like the finer grind for my coffee maker. I hope to find an excellent quality with aroma that is outstanding for both Blueberry and Raspberry coffee....the search is on. I've already tried another brand and no blueberry aroma. I also like how the Swedes gring their coffee. Most pre-ground coffee is still to coarse as was the case in this brand.

Good flavor but beware!
This coffee is decent for the flavor, (I had other brands with more flavor and also less!) but the oil is still on the coffee beans and sticks to any type of plastic container they are put in. We housed them in an airtight plastic container and had to throw it away, they fogged the container and this WOULD NOT WASH OUT! They also fogged our grinder (we only put them in once) in the plastic ground bean holding container. So if you buy these, try the pre-ground beans or leave them in the original bag and use and old fashion metal grinder.

Do not like it.
Ordered this by mistake. Thought we were actually getting an espresso blend. We don't like the taste. The roast is more of a light to medium. The flavor tastes somewhat artificial. Likely works for some, but not for us.

Not a gourmet taste left a bitter taste
Bought the Strudel cake çoffee. I has a Gloria Jeans Strudel Cake coffee. It was delicious. House even smelled like you just pulled one out of the oven when you brewed a pot. I have been unable to find it. I found this brand and was so excited thinking it would be delicious. It does not taste or smell like a Strudel cake. It taste bitter can't quite put a finger on the almost chemical taste. Had to use alot of beans for they were very weak. Very Disappointed.
