Excellent Value for cost of spices
Love these spices especially at this time of year. I keep a pot simmering on the stove and the house smells like I'm baking. Add to cider and make perfect mulled cider. The packaging is great as it seals tight and keeps the spices fresh.

Medium sized berries and very fresh
Not too much to say when ordering spices, but one annoyance for me is that all the allspice berries I can find in stores are about the size of peppercorns and very expensive. These were medium sized berries, very aromatic, and are also a fraction of the price of grocery store purchases.

If a recipe calls for whole spices, use whole spices. They taste different
If you cook a soup, make a stock/broth, or really anything liquid, whole spices taste so different. I made an absolutely lovely chicken broth with whole peppercorns, whole all spice, and a few other herbs too. After slow cooking for 24 hours, I removed the whole spices and was shocked to discover just how different it tasted.No you cannot substitute ground powdered spices for the same flavors. It doesn't work that way.
