New Lease on Sleeping Well
Update/ 11/13/2025 Still working like a Timex watch! No loss of abilities at all. Update:(2/29/2024) It’s been over 3.5 years of continual nightly use. Everything on the frame works as well and performs as quietly as it did on day one. A solid investment! This adjustable bed frame has been a blessing over the last month! I had purchased a memory foam (Puffy regular) mattress about a year ago. A medical diagnosis for severe digestive issues (GERD) resulted in a recommendation for an adjustable frame. Being someone who does lots of research before making the plunge, articles and reviews led me to the Blissful Sleep frame. I opted to NOT purchase the deluxe night light/massage option (reviews/logic convinced me that the massage would get lost in the transfer through a 12” gel mattress). I have been thrilled with the E3 frame. It was easy to set up although it took three Golden Girls to buggylug it into the bedroom and turn it over as it weighs 119 lbs. (Would have made a great TV sitcom episode!) Put the legs on, verify cords are properly plugged in, turn it over, sync the remote to the power box, heave the mattress back on and voila! Good to go. The German made mechanism is very quiet, you can adjust the head/foot height with the remote (don’t forget to sync it with the bed motor first or it won’t work. An easy “wait for the blue light to turn solid” step using the remote) and my existing mattress works like a charm! I’ve slept like a babe with no reflux and the added benefit of no aches/pains, especially once I discovered what the “zero gravity” position looks like.(Some beds offer an auto zero gravity or memory of your favored position; this bed does not but I do not find the extra 10 seconds to do it using the remote a big deal.) I also find that the power box offered enough illumination from its “on light” to provide me with a night light. I am very pleased with the prompt delivery (came 5 days early) and quality overall of this product. I will come back again to give a followup over time. (11/19/21)

Works well. No tools needed but some assembly required.
I just got and assembled this so can't comment on durability but everything seems very solid. Several notes: 1. Each of the two base units weighs 93 lbs., not the total as I interpreted it. I thought my wife and I could get 46 lbs. up our stairs. No. Two younger friends did it for us. 2. They are easier to move when out of the box - you get a grip on parts of the frame. 3. No tools are needed, but there is some assembly. The instructions are well written and illustrated. 4. You have to adjust the height of the bed by removing 3" portions of the legs. They come assembled as 4 pieces - the bottom 3" piece has the floor glide and is required. They are quite sturdy regardless of the height and removing pieces and screwing the legs into the frame takes no strength - just snug them up. 5. There are two brackets to join the two halves. Separate each set and screw the inner leg through half the bracket. Then use the bolts with nice "handles" to rejoin and secure the brackets. 6. You need to attach a power cord to the power supply and plug the master control into the power supply. It is easy to do and there is no way you could confuse the cords. 7. If you want the two sides to operate independently, you're done. If you want the two sides to work together (for a normal king mattress) there is a cord supplied (actually two - one with each side) that you connect the two master controls. We're using a Sleep Number split king. The two sides of the head of the mattress operate alone, but the foot of the mattress is normal, so both sides have to be adjusted together. When I saw you could synch them, I thought great, I'll synch the foot ends. No, it's all or nothing. I am very pleased. The mattress is so much more comfortable now that I can adjust it. I sleep on my back with my head slightly raised and my knees bent because of neck, back and knee pain. It is the best sleep I've ever gotten. And the price is much lower than buying one from Sleep Number. Oh, one last thing - the head of the unit is easy to fold up - don't try to carry it holding that end, lift the frame. It does make it easy to attach the cords, especially the synch cord when you can just lift up an end.

Very pleased with purchase
We decided to purchase an adjustable bed due to my spouse's mobility issues. I did a lot of research online and in person. While I was hesitant to buy online, I'm so glad I did. 1. The price was great. The base and mattress combined was over $1000 less than just buying the base alone in a store. I know you get what you pay for, but in this case I'm glad I spent what I did. 2. Delivery was a week earlier than expected. That never happens with a furniture store; there's always a delay. 3. Set up was so easy. I did have to enlist my nephews to move the bases in the house, but both bases were easy to set up and unrolling the mattresses was also simple and quick. Instructions were easy to follow. 4. Base moves smoothly and silently, although the dog was initially afraid of the movement. (LOL) 5. I initially thought the mattress would be too soft (based on the picture online), but it's very comfortable and just right. (Goldilocks would approve). I can read and watch TV much more comfortably. 6. It fit inside our existing bed frame. We wanted to keep the frame and headboard and it fits perfectly. My only regret was not buying it sooner.

I guess my interpretation of “quiet” is different than most….
Despite the box arriving looking it was ravaged by a coked out banshee, the frame itself arrived in perfect condition. It’s super easy to assemble and get going. The operation is quite smooth and the motors are not loud (not silent as some state, but acceptable). The base (where the mattress sits) is not solid, it’s a large wire mesh covered in fabric. I mention this as it’s possible your mattress will sag into the mesh slightly (as does mine). I have a tempurpedic cloud mattress that when getting in and out of bed, will sag into the mesh. You can actually hear the fabric that covers the mesh stretch and tear as you get in or out of bed. Laying down, flip-flopping, or otherwise moving around doesn’t do this. I can not feel the mesh through the mattress. It’s only when getting in and out that this happens. I’m worried that at some point, the fabric will completely tear. I don’t know how much support the fabric provides, or how it will affect the feel of the mattress but it’s bound to happen at some point. The frame itself was dead silent for a few months. Now it creaks and moans like Grandpa in a snowstorm….maybe even sounds like the Titan submersible making its way to the Titanic. The creaks are not while adjusting the bed. It’s just every time I move, sneeze, cough, laugh, whatever….heres a creak, there’s a creak, everywhere there’s a creak. Most notably when the bed frame is in the flat position. There are some reviews where people are placing foam/rubber strips on the frame to help silence it. Something one shouldn’t have to do, but I for sure need to stop being lazy and get done as I’m a flipper. Something to think about is the remote. If you place you remote on a nightstand, when the bed is in an upright position it’s near impossible to reach. As the frame tilts up, it places you further and further away from the nightstand. Now I know why some models advertise a pouch to hold the remote within reach. Also, our pillows will fall down between the headboard and mattress as the gap is quite large in the upright position. Fancier (and much more costly) adjustable frames, actually slide back as they tilt up to keep your head up against the headboard to alleviate these issues. Had I known upfront, I may have dropped the extra cheddar on one of those. Another thing to consider are pets and littles. If they came with ten fingers and ten toes, one might want them to stay away from this. I can totally see this causing some serious injury. There doesn’t seem to be any safety features to prevent pinching, crushing, or entrapment. If you have pets that like to hang out under the bed, or littles that could play with the remote while playing hide and seek or whatever….just something to think about. Otherwise, it works flawlessly so far. It’s quite comfortable. It actually has helped with my gerd/acid reflux at night…tremendously. However, it has only helped my snoring/apnea minutely if at all.

Split Cali King- don't wait, just buy it!!
I've had the bed for about 6 weeks now and I love it! I was so nervous to buy a bed without laying on it first, but couldn't bring myself to spend 11k on a Tempurpedic! It's nice and firm, and I love the adjustable frame. It's quiet when it moves and it's such a nice feature for when watching tv or reading in bed. I am 5' 2" and I was able to get the boxes in the house, up the stairs(with some maneuvering) and put it together by myself. So easy to set up! The split bed is so nice so my husband and I can sleep better according to our individual needs. If you're considering, definitely buy this bed. It's such a good deal!

If you’ve been searching and came across this, stop and buy this one!
My husband purchased this adjustable base for my birthday, and it’s perfect! I’m a C-4 incomplete spinal cord injury patient and suffer with autonomic dysfunction issues. I previously was using extra pillows and mattress wedges. With this base I do not have to wake my husband up to help move me. I’ve gained a little bit of my independence back with this base. Works perfectly! Thank you to whoever designed this one. It was easy for my husband to assemble and move it to my bedroom all by himself. 10/10 recommend

High quality adjustable bed, with an even better price
I looked at so many adjustable bases over a months time, and I finally decided it was time to pick one and order. I took a chance on this one, even though the 1 or 2 others in this price range had USB ports and massage feature. First off, it's very easy to wire your own USB slot, which will be better quality anyway (with fast charging, etc). This base seems to be of higher quality than others in the price range. It came sealed, and the only thing I had to do was screw in the highly-height customizable steel legs into the frame. Plug into wall, insert batteries into remote and that's it!! The motors are so quiet, I don't even hear them when raising and lowering the bed. This is a heavy duty frame, not cheap steel being used. The frame goes up and down at a nice speed. Not too slow and not too fast. The wireless remote seems well made too. Solid 5 stars for the quality of this frame. I learned my lesson five years ago when I spent $1700 on a Stearns and Foster mattress, thinking that it was high quality, and that mattress was one of those things in life where higher always meant better (mostly). I didn't buy an "off brand" adjustable base, thinking they were cheaply made. Well, 3 weeks ago, I replaced that $1700 mattress for a $300.00 Amazon mattress and this Queen size base for $459.99. Together, under $800 total, I have the most comfortable bed I've ever had. Even if it only lasts 5 years, that's all I got out of the "name brand." Both mattress and this base arrived at my front door. I think the mattress business is going to see a dramatic shift in the coming years, because these generic brands are as good, and often better. Give it a shot, you'll be happy you did.
