WELL IF you get a falling apart motherboard you have to deal with ASROCK directly! w/ update
Amazon will not it seems replace this. basically looks like they dropped it a few times and then packaged it up and shipped it out.. box looked great! Now waiting for asrock to contact me back on this as i had to fill out a form and submit it and wait.... UPDATE AMAZON HAS NOW REPLACED IT!.. Getting the new one today ;)

CPU and DRAM POST light, No Signal to monitor. All new parts
And everything worked and booted up first try as soon as I put everything into another Mobo that I bought from Microcenter!I wasted practically 2 whole days troubleshooting my entirely new build that somehow won't POST, and give No Signal to my monitor. I even tried to put my old hardware in there and still throws up the CPU and DRAM light indicator error. Thought mine were faulty, threw my old stuff back into a generic Dell motherboard and it booted up. Then I threw my new 5900x in there but the Dell mobo doesn't support AMD 5000 series so I couldn't conclude that it was my faulty CPU.Did all the tricks you can find on Google trying to fix those 2 error lights on this mobo - which there are many with this same issue, several with this same motherboard or from Asrock - nothing worked. Pulled everything out, reinstalled, double checked my PSU plugs, mobo plugs, tightening screws, loosening screws, reseating RAMs, trying with only 1 RAM - in all DIMM slot combination, and all the crap that I could pull off in 2 days and ended up with several swole fingers - I took a 40 minutes drive to and back from Microcenter with another mobo in hand and guessed what?Uh oh... CPU light, DRAM light... then VGA light? It cycled through those 3 lights, I thought for sure oh no it's my new parts that are at fault! Nope. It was just a regular cycle, after a few seconds, monitor displayed and I'm in.Bottom line... either I was really unlucky to get a defective one of the batch, or this specific motherboard got some shoddy quality control as I've seen several people having this same issues on this same board, some got it fixed after trying various things and it just resolved itself randomly, some just had to straight out replace the board like I did to fix it.Asrock website says the board does not support Ryzen 5000 series without a BIOS update. I can't tell if mine is updated or not, the BIOS version sticker on the board was crossed out with a marker or something so I'm assuming it was either updated or tampered with. Either way, it didn't work and wasted my whole weekend.Needless to say, I'm a little irritated and will be returning this board for a refund and I can't for the good conscience of me recommending this board to others, unless I want to torture them and make them gamble on a board that is pretty attractive for the price x features.

Has it all😁
Pro's are that it's a budget Motherboard with most of the high end features. As of 3/2022 mine has it's BIOs already @1.20 , that's necessary for Ryzen 5 CPU"s. Really good solid Motherboard.Cons none really, personally don't like the BIOs layout. Easy enough to get past.I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600x , RX6600xt ,RAM16gb 3200MHz . Running it all in a PoS no air case temps are good. Idle CPU@ 36° GPU@ 33° . While Gaming everything and anything CPU temps stay in the mid 60s.I'm very satisfied with this Motherboard5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

very good choice
This is a be very good choice for a budget mb. Good quality and compatibility. Has built in Wifi as well. Cannot compare with expensive mb in terms of bells and whistles, but for most users, they won't miss anything.

Easy upgrade!
I usually went with MSI motherboards but this ASRock ticked off everything I was looking for so I gave it a chance. I put a Ryzen 3500X and some Crucial memory in it, plugged it in and... nothing happened. Oops! Plugged in my graphics card and it powered up without a hitch. The B550 chipset , 4 memory slots, and cpu upgrade-ability were the key factors in choosing this motherboard, and for about $100 it was a no brainer. I ran mbr2gpt on my SSD, enabled UEFI in the BIOS settings and am all set to run Win11 now. Haven''t tried to OC it yet, will update when I do.
