Shoemate Flat Waxed Cotton Shoe Laces for Boots & Dress Shoes, Shoe Strings

These Shoemate flat waxed cotton laces are excellent! The length and thickness are perfect for my boots and dress shoes. They feel durable, hold knots well, and don’t slip. The waxed finish adds a nice polished look, making my shoes look brand new. Highly recommend for anyone needing quality shoe laces.

Finally a solution to the shoelace problem. Start with a shoelace that is too long, tie it just the way you like it, slip the aglets on, cut the laces to the right length, slide the aglets to the end and tighten the screw. Especially good for me, because the way I tie them, I use more lace on one side than the other. I cut them after tying the bow, and they come out symmetrical and the perfect length. The aglets have not come loose. They are a bit large, but that's ok. I suppose you could purchase the aglets separately and that would work just a as well, as long as you start with laces that are too long. Oops, one lace frayed and broke after two months. The fact that the aglets will not fit back through the eyelets is a bit inconvenient.

Glad I bought these. I have some brown leather sneakers that needed new laces. They came with round slightly-waxed black laces which broke after about 50 wears. I replaced them with some generic white cotton round un-waxed laces— visible on the left shoe in the attached picture. Those weren’t quite hitting the aesthetic I was looking for and I decided to purchase these white waxed flat laces and I’m glad I did— visible on the right shoe in the attached picture. They give off a classy sneaker vibe. I’ll post a follow up after some use if the quality isn’t up to par, but the aesthetics are definitely meeting expectations. Update 7/18/2022 Shoelace broke after roughly 1 year. Bought the same ones again. We’ll see how long they last.

The laces on my Thursday Boot Captains had finally given up after years of wear. These were a perfect replacement fit and the color was quite close to the originals. With a little age they look even better

Bought these to replace my short laces on my soccer cleats. They were perfect. And the laces hold a knot very tight. No signs of wear and tear now playing in muddy grass for weeks.

Las cintas llegaron en una bolsa sencilla. El largo esta bien como debe ser pero se sienten delgadas y personalmente las hubiera preferido mas anchas. Por el precio estan bien. Llevo casi un mes usandolas de forma regular, me gusta abrocharme las citas ajustadas y hasta ahora talvez rasgandolas un poco con los ojillos metalicos pero hasta ahora estan bien. Las recomiendo por el precio pero no esperen lo mejor del mundo por el precio.
