I replaced the leather cord with a silver chain, only because I like the length better, will use the cord on other pendants.This penta-cross is beautiful, image is vivid and well cast. The material is pewter which is beautiful and versatile as well as hypoallergenic, so it's good for sensitive skin. Pewter is a soft metal and can tarnish in water so unless treated with a sealant this should not be a 24/7 necklace. I treated mine with a chemical sealant that doesn't need to cure in the oven, coated with 4 layers on both sides over a couple of days to make sure that it was strong and well dried. If you plan to live in the necklace definitely treat it. I get compliments on it with those who are understanding/accepting of my blended faith and I can turn it around for situations where the pentagram might be a point of hassle (going to Catholic mass for events with extended family) and looks like a shining cross, which also gets compliments.Very happy with this amulet, haven't taken it off since completing the sealant treatment.

The picture makes it look as if it's textured; like the pentacle is raised or that it's particularly prominent against the cross. No, everything is flat and you have to look at the cross just right to see the pentacle. It also has a very cheap feel to it. Granted, it's inexpensive, but sometimes you get a bargain and sometimes you get what you paid for. It's not ugly, it just looks kinda cheap. It's hard to find a pentacross. I have a pentacle with a cross on it that's heavy pewter but you gotta look hard to see the cross. It's always as if one is hiding the other. Would I buy it again? I don't think so. Do I wear it every day since I got it? Yes.

This is a fantastic piece! Well worth the money and good quality I might add. So glad to have found this because finding nice pendants in this specific style that is not cheesy or cheap can be moderately difficult. Only thing I changed was the necklace as it had a very strong leather odor that was quite over powering, lol. Otherwise a damn near perfect buy! I highly recommend it.

I've had this on since I took it out of the pack except to shower. Its held up amazing. I love it.

Very cheap quality, not worth the price.

My only compalint is I didn't like the strap this cross came with. I put it on a silver boxstyle chain and it's perfect.I get a lot of compliments. I love tge fact I can freely wear a pentacle with a cross without offending anyone. Works for me! Very nice sturdy cross.
