Ebb Sleep Replacement ComfortBand

I have had multiple nights to where I do not sleep. I have been dealing with sleeplessness for many years now. I have gotten some sleep over the years, but not near enough. I have tried everything. From time to time, I found supplements that worked. A couple supplements I tried are valerian root, hops, and vitamins such as potassium amongst others. I bought this device in hopes it would definitely help me to sleep. I am definitely appreciative of the ebb device. It works. I am able to fall asleep. Staying asleep at night is something that I have to work on. Being able to fall asleep is a big accomplishment and I am grateful for the device. I have e recommended this device to others already and they are looking at it now. Whether they try it or not, that is the decision I cannot make. For me, I am grateful. Since the date of purchase my sleep went up from 2-3 hours to 4-8 hours. It helps in keeping the head cool at night and helps with the racing thoughts. I now just have to find something that will keep the body cool and I will be able to increase my sleep even more. Thank you Ebb for creating a device that works.

I love sleep, and I used to have no trouble falling asleep or staying asleep—until this past year. I’ve been really struggling to fall asleep—it’s like everything that happened during that day replays on loop as soon as my head hits the pillow, and it’s so frustrating! I tried melatonin gummies, but they stopped working after a few months, and I was worried they were making my sleep worse. I eventually decided to give Ebb a try, and I’m so glad I did. The cooling is really strange at first—it definitely took a few nights to get acclimated—but I really love it now! I put the headband on about 30 minutes before bedtime, and it lulls me into sleep. I do feel like my sleep has improved, thanks to Ebb and an all-around better sleep routine (no phone/TV before bed, same sleep schedule every night, etc). It’s a little hard to get used to something so cold on your head all night, and there were times I wanted to give up, but I’m glad I kept using it each night because I’m finally getting the sleep I love so much back!

Have returned the item.Maybe it will work for other people.But I am noise-sensitive. The motor in the machine is noisy in our quiet bedroom.

Was overwhelmingly cold on my forehead...Too much background noise. Did not help me sleep at all.

Easy to set up and use. I have had chronic sleep problems for years and see a sleep medicine specialist every six months. I normally take 12.5 mg of time release Ambien every night and sometimes it takes hours to get to sleep. I have used the EPP device for only three nights and I fall asleep in about 10-15 minutes and sleep for a full eight hours. I have not yet tried eliminating Ambien from my sleep regime but I will try that in a few weeks and update this review. The headband is more or less comfortable with a slight tug from the attached cord.

I had been struggling to get a good night for more than a couple years. Sleeping pills were not a route I had interest in pursuing. Buying the Ebb has made a huge difference in my life. My sleep has improved drastically and I could not be happier. With something as sensitive as sleep, it was an adjustment at first to get used to sleeping with a headband. After a couple nights I hardly noticed I was wearing a headband and found my self consumed by the calm I felt from the cooling. I do feel my stress from the day fade away while wearing the Ebb. A sound night sleep has become the norm for me, not the exception. My fiance told me that I am just a brighter person after using the Ebb for a couple months. Worth every penny I paid.

I used to wake up feeling brain-scrambled, dehydrated, and more exhausted than when I went to bed. This device has changed all that. Now I wake up feeling cool and refreshed.I will say that it takes a bit of getting used to wearing this at night. The tube that connects the comfort band to the control unit restricts me from rolling over as freely as I used to, and sometimes the slight discomfort of wearing it wakes me up in the middle of the night. This is getting better though as time goes on and I figure out how to wear it more comfortably. I’d certainly not want to go back to how things were before I started using it!Regarding skin concerns, I use a tissue between the cushion and my forehead, which I change every night for hygiene purposes. This also keeps me from waking up with red marks on my forehead, by distributing the cooling more evenly across my skin, though it might also slightly blunt the effectiveness of the device.Ebb is not a panacea. If I’m going through a stressful period, or if I’m not careful with my sleep hygiene, I still have trouble staying asleep through the night. But at least I’m not waking up feeling brain-scrambled anymore. And I no longer have a phobic fear of going to sleep in the first place, so my sleep schedule is becoming a lot more regular than it used to be.In addition to my Ebb, I use a chiliPAD and chiliBLANKET (with Ooler control units), for all-over optimal temperature control at night. It’s important to me to have brain cooling from Ebb as well as body cooling from my chili bedding, since scientists have found that an overheated brain is more susceptible to tissue damage, infection and toxin leakage.I’d like to see a v2 Ebb that allows users to set varying temperatures over the course of the night, like Kryo has done with their Ooler unit. Another feature I prefer from the Ooler unit is the ability to fill it up with distilled water from the grocery store rather than buy replacement cartridges.Overall, I’m very glad I found this product and gave it a shot despite the high price! I feel much more hopeful now about my future sleep quality and brain health.

Excellent product, have used the portable device for a year, and the Luxe is an improvement with easier mobility when in bed. The cooling action is amazing for me, it drops me right off, shutting down most of my busy mind.
