Impressed with this game. It is conceptually set up just like the real Royal Rumble and has lots of options and strategy. If you have kids like mine there you can have hours of fun just playing your own made up games freestyle.The instructions are really easy to follow and helpful to get you started. They even provide a visual walk through of the game with pictures and definitions, which is super helpful.There are several types of cards:30 Legend Cards30 Signature Cards1 WWE Legends Token - ultra shiny cardboard laminated medallion150 Action Cards: Attack, Boost, Special, and Defense.Some observations and highlights:Legend card - the players. Retro, cool yellow background and great images. These cards are a bit bigger than the other cards. We get lots of oohs and aaahs when we seeing certain old school favorites and there are lots. You can be up to three Legends in the same game, but not at the same time. Includes stars on the right that indicate the health of person, the wrestler stats (height, weight, place of birth) and their signature move. There is also a player quote at the bottom. Easy to read and nice graphic layout.Signature card - there are 30, one for each Legend. The cards are for example, 1) Stinger Splash is 4 damage. It cannot be blocked or dodged. 2) Choke Slam is 3 damage. If this hits and throws your opponent over the rope, you may immediately play an Attack against another Legend. The flipside of each signature move card is a cool image of the Legend that owns that signature move.Action card - moves that are not "signature moves". Kicks, strikes and moves. Such as a Chop or a Clothesline. Its not a finisher card. There are boost cards that add damage to action cards. For example, 1) the Irish Whip stinger splash has one star of damage, speed or 2; or 2) With a Chair, cannot be blocked.Defense card - One example is the Ref card. Can cancel any cheap trick attacks - for example a choke slam onto a chair. Cheap tricks are indicated by a yellow exclamation point on certain boost cards.The overall game itself is well made and in a sturdy, nice looking box. We own many Ravensburger puzzles and they are the best quality. This box is smaller and more compact than a regular board game, so I was pleasantly surprised about that as it is easier to store. It is easy to clean up and organize the game as there are compartments for each stack, roomy enough so you don't have to struggle or put a ton of effort putting it away.The graphics are really cool too! Yellow and powder blue with the WW stamp make me feel like I am back in the 1980's. I'm loving it.

This is worth trying even if you are not a wrestling fan. There is actually a good game here with tons of player interaction and back-and-forth swings. The best part is that it can play up to 10 people without much slowdown because all the action feels like it is happening at once. Component quality is low with thin, uncoated cards but then again so is the price. Sleeving the cards might be a good idea if this is going to see a lot of play.

I got this game for my fiancé, who is an avid pro wrestling fan. He loves this game. The overall gameplay is fun and easy, pretty much anyone can have fun with this game. What’s cool is this game also comes with collectibles. The quality of the cards is pretty good considering it’s a game. We’ve been pretty satisfied with it so far. If you’re a wrestling fan, you need this game.

This is a surprisingly fun game foe the whole family. You are trying to outlast everyone else, just like in a real Royal Rumble. Each round everyone chooses a move/hit and who they are attacking. Some moves have special attacks if the hit lands. There is blocking, dodging, interference, ref cards and more. The last one in the game is the title holder. Each wrestler has a signature move and all the wrestlers are legends. Hope you enjoy!!

This is a fun game but, as was the case for another reviewer, Amazon shipped me a game with a visibly damaged box. I recommend you buy this at your local Target and avoid Amazon's poor quality control.

Bought this for my boyfriend who is a big wrestling fan and has been since he was a kid. I didn't expect that this would be the best $25 I have ever spent on him! He gets very into it and bring so much joy to him! This game is a lot of fun, even for me who isn't a huge fan. The nostalgia of it all will bring out the kid in anyone who has been a fan, highly recommend!! Easy to learn. We only wish they'd come out with an expansion pack one day.

The basic rules of the game might get a little boring after awhile, but we play all kind of different rules and it's a lot of fun to play with an 8 year old. definitely recommend to wrestling fans and hoping for an expansion pack one day.
