Love, love, love this product. It works for mosquitoes but no other flying bugs just an fyi. The smell is so faint it doesn't bother you. The mosquito population under my canopy was cut in half while camping within 10 minutes. We've used it about 25 times during dusk and dawn over the summer on our weekend camping trips. We go camping 15 to 25 times a year for 2 to 5 days at a time. Tent camping. Nice to find a product the really helps on reducing the mosquitoes around you. It wasn't as helpful on hikes but that is not the products fault. Your moving so the gas it puts off gets left behind you. I've tried every spray I could find, candles, torches, oils, etc. This product did a great job. My only wish is that they didn't make the blue pad so hard to replace. It says not to touch it so when I push the new one in the old one falls out. The foil wrapping is small so you end up getting some on your fingers if you are trying to do this in the dark and can't see it well.

The Thermacell is amazing! Early-season bow hunting here in North Carolina is muggy and buggy. After too many sticky mornings I decided to give this a try based on the reviews. I was surprised and relieved to see the bugs actually staying away. It is easy to burn through fuel which isn’t cheap. That is the only negative. This product has made early season sits much more enjoyable. Now if they made something to help with the humidity those sits might actually be pleasant.

Could it be a coincidence that everytime I forgot my thermacell it just so happened to be the worst mosquito day of my life? And is it a coincidence that I always remembered it on the days that there are ZERO bugs out? Or is it possible that this is the absolute BEST thing ever created 🤔 Best thing since sliced bread?? No... better than sliced bread (and I love sandwiches). *bonus* did not spook any animals during my hunting season

Fast shipping! Anyone on the fence about using this hunting shouldn't worry. This is an excellent product. The original scent have very very little scent and did not seem to bother white tails. I used this and had several deer come under the stand. As far as a repellent goes. Let's just say I can't wait to use this on the porch next summer when our mosquitos get bad. I was hunting an area that rivals Alaska for mosquitos. You could literally see a cloud of where a bubble of repellent was around me. The mosquitos are so bad you can see and hear them buzzing. They create large clouds above the trees and on the ground. Great product!

As I said in the refill review. This is an awesome rig. Easy to use, quiet, and doesn't seem to bother the game you're hunting. The bears still came in. Each blue strip lasts 4 hours. And I had NO bugs at all. So I was able to stay still, with no bug slapping and itching. This will be my go to happy tool for fishing and hunting from now on. No more bug strays or lotions for me!

Well, this apparatus is nice to look at and certainly easily fit into the camo holster I ordered as well (which arrived in two days - Prime). It also hooks easily onto a loop on clothing or backpack. However, I honestly can't review how well it actually works because although it was a Prime item, I did not receive it in two days, in fact it took over a week so I did not get it in time to try it on my vacation and had to go back to using DEET spray instead:-(I will update the review when I do get the opportunity to actually try the Mosquito Repelling Device as I bought it based entirely on other's reviews!

I've had older Thermacell operate just fine in the conditions I use them in, but this one seems to keep losing the flame. I would turn on the butane, wait a few seconds, and trigger the ignition. Checking the clear viewing port at the top, I can see the flame. Usually about 15 minutes or so later, I would realize that the bugs are still hanging around, so I'd check on it to find out the flame has gone out. It was sitting on a glass table with a full tank of butane and no obstruction to the vents. Not sure why it keeps doing this...will warrenty with Thermacell.

This does work. I know I had my doubts. I take this fishing with me and I can't even imagine fishing without it. I have no bugs no mosquitoes no anything that is nasty. I will buy one of these for every member of my family that does any outdoor type activity.Thermacell really needs to advertise better for this product because it works great. The butane charge last very long and I will not go on a hunting or fishing trip without this device again.

Super GerätRiecht gar nicht und wirkt. Ich bin echt begeistert.Allerdings darf man nicht vergessen das Gerät auch aus zu schalten, sonst muss man schnell nachfüllen.Hier wäre vielleicht ein Licht hilfreich.Ich würde das Gerät jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Mein Mann ist Angel und schwört auf dieses Gerät. Es erfüllt vollkommen seinen Zweck.Wir haben es auch schon mal im Schlafzimmer bei offener Balkontür angemacht. Keine Mücken.
