So far so good. Helps me use much less oil, and sprays nicely most of the time.
What’s very good:–– This gadget can spray a small amount of oil per use and control where it goes much better. It sprays more of a fine mist, that's more controllable than any pressurized spray oil I've found in stores.–– I’m very happy that this Misto is made of glass and my oil isn’t sitting in plastic all day for weeks and weeks. What could improve:–– There is a thin plastic tube that sits in the oil, but to make that retractable would probably make this thing cost more than its worth so I live with that.–– The spray goes wonky if you don't pump it up enough or if you turn the whole thing upside down by mistake while trying to get in and spray the sides of things. It becomes more of a stream. (But if you crumple a paper towel tightly around the spray button to absorb excess oil and let it sit for a few minutes to drain, then pump it up again, it seems to get better.)–– The tube that protrudes from the inside of the cap and provides the pump action is stuck on in a sort of flimsy way, but so far it's hanging on.–– I need both hands to pump it up, so I can't keep one hand on the bottle. I have a tile floor in the kitchen so I'm always a little worried that I'll pull up too much and the tube will come all the way off and that the glass bottle could then fall down and break, but again so far so good.I'd like it better if there were some kind of tether that would prevent the cap coming all the way off during the pump process, that you could then disconnect to take the cap off and spray. Maybe in the form of guides on two opposite sides that would go up through little ears sticking out from the bottle, that you could squeeze together or push little buttons to disconnect. In conclusion, the tube should be longer and more securely stuck to the inside of the cap and the cap tethered somehow to the bottle, but in the end this thing works and does what I want..

Best oil sprayer yet
I've had several oil sprayers and most didn't spray, they shot a stream of oil no matter how much you pumped them up. They also required frequent cleaning but once the orifice got plugged you might as well throw the sprayer away. This aluminum one seems to project a consistent spray. So far, no plug problems However, you must release the pressure after each use and pump it up again the next time you want to spray something and don't fill the container more than halfway. It requires about 75 pumps to get the proper pressure and spray pattern.

The spray bottles have many uses beyond food preparation.
I purchased this product to be used for an automotive maintenance purpose. It works well. I would purchase it again.

close
This mister is a bit better than my previous one, but it still doesn't produce as fine of a mist as I would like. I am using extra light olive oil, but still not get some rather big drops of oil with each spray. It is easy to use, but I am concerned about over pumping/pressurizing it and causing it to break or wear out too soon.

Second in ten years
The first one of these has lasted over 10 years. The pump has come loose from the cap, but still functions if used carefully. The new one is identical to our old model. I will say that it takes a bit of priming at first, but it's awesome to use once you get the hang of it. Cheaper and more environmentally friendly than buying spray at the store, plus you can use whatever oil you want in it.

Couldn't get it to work.
Couldn't pump it. Sent it back.

Wonderful product
Small enough in circumference to hold with small hands, easy to fill and pump. I love the even spray you get even when holding it at an angle. Key to it working is definitely reading the instructions. I love this sprayer and the color choices it comes in.

It works....
I've had mine for over a month and nothing to get bend out of shape about. Sometimes the spray head stays depressed and the spray dies out. Pop the top, use your fingernails to pull the spray head up and give it a little twist. Reassemble and pump. Sometimes it sputters and sometimes it's a fine mist. Both work for me as both spread the liquid. I mainly use mine when smoking pork butt and pork ribs. I put in some apple juice, pump it up and finely coat the crust every 20-30 minutes during the smoke.Oh, and I clean it frequently to avoid clogs. I bought a 2 pack and the second is still sitting in the box. While I wish it always gave a strong, fine mist I know that's not going to happen every time so I don't fret over it. I'm not a fan of tossing spray cans in the trash so I'll keep cleaning the Misto and hope for the best.

mister that ACTUALLY mists cooking oils
IF used right this product will creaste a fine mist of cooking oil (cold pressed rapseed oil is what i use, its thick).1. only fill a maximum of half way, you need the air gap to create air pressure.2. pump it up enough. I give it upto 40 pumps3. release the excess pressure after every use.do this and you will get a vey fine, consistent mist spray of oil

Rubbish
Does not work with olive oil, and that's the only oil I might spray anywhere. First attempt resulted in a spluttering of droplets. Second attempt, a nice jet of oil.I tried with various combinations of oil and temperature, pressure and different spectacles. Nothing changed. £16 pounds worth of junk. Not worth the bother of retuning, straight in the non recyclable bin.

Excellent product which does what it says!
Excellent product! Good quality item, sent quickly and well packaged. When you follow the instructions properly (and realise that you need to pump it up well beyond the initial point of resistance) it works brilliantly!
