This item does not have the soft glow feature. They are sending out the older version, not the newer version with the soft glow. They also say the product is sold directly from the vendor but this is a third party.

Very easy to use

Was great!

We for this for a baby shower gift. Was excited about it but after the first time our baby got sick we took her temp with this and it said 99 degrees. The next day she didn't get any better so we took her into her pediatrician. Her temp there was 102.5. I was surprised! We went home and took her temp again with it and it said 98. Than we took it with a regular thermoter and that said 102. I wouldn't advise this at all. Scary that happened
